Waterfront vacation rentals in Channel Islands

We stayed in apartment 38 for a week in July 2021. It exceeded my expectations and the pictures do not do it justice (the pictures make it look a bit dated but it really isn’t). It is a lovely 3 bed apartment - very clean throughout. The bedrooms and bathroom are on the first floor and the stairs lead up to the living area and kitchen! The kitchen comes with a fridge, dishwasher, cooker and oven. You also get all your basic cooking utensils and dishes alongside cleaning products including dishwasher tablets. One thing I would suggest is taking some tupperware to store your food in or if you want to make a picnic. The description also stated they provided cooking oil - but there wasn’t any - so it’s worth taking some if you want to make a full english in the morning. We ordered a Tesco online shop which was delivered straight to the apartment without any problems. Note, the pools (indoor and outdoor) are not heated so can be quite cold. The indoor pool area is a bit tired looking with the paint peeling off the floor - but the kids still had a fab time. The gym is also well equipped with weight and cardio machines…but again some of the padding on the machines are a bit worn. Overall we had a fab time, the views are amazing. Meadfoot beach is literally on the doorstep and the town is only a 15min walk away. Paignton beach (10min drive) is great for the kids if you want a bit more hustle and bustle i.e. Pier with arcades and fairground. Also recommend The Inn on the Green for lovely pub grub - they are directly opposite the Paignton pier and the staff were fab too.

This apartment has the wow factor. It was luxurious, well appointed and warm. The sea views were amazing and it was great to be able to access the wonderful beach from the balcony and listen to the waves in bed. My husband had told Susan we were celebrating an anniversary and she left wine and chocolates for us, which was a lovely touch. It was easy to walk into the centre, or you could catch a bus from the stop nearby. We highly recommend this beautiful property.

A great apartment facing the harbor, super well isolated, once closed we listen to nothing. The apartment is as described, well arranged, super clean, a super functional kitchen, everything is well thought out. Great walks to do or by boat to go to CHAUSEY Island. A very nice stay.

We had a resourceful stay at this venue. The appartement is just perfect for a family of three like ours and the view is unbelievable.

Overall, the stay was very good! We were satisfied and would come back. However, it is relatively clairaudient and when neighbors are there, you hear a lot around it. In addition, a little more storage space in the kitchen would have been good. However, these are just small things and we definitely recommend the apartment.

Louise is an incredible host. Her house is really well located, beautifully decorated and Louise has thought of everything to make your stay exceptional. We’re already booked in twice more this year!

The space was very clean and its location was great!

A house full of charm and history opposite the sea that offers us a different show at every moment. Beautiful walks can be done on foot from the rental. Parking is easy. Everything was perfect, we spent a week with family, 4 adults and 2 children. The spaces are spacious and thoughtful. It is still necessary to take into account the fact that the bedrooms and bathrooms are dyed on the floor and in the basement, which can be useful for the PRMs We recommend this rental where we already plan to return next spring

A cozy house for a we with friends. Charming house in a charming environment. Full of information sent by Marc and his wife. In short, a really nice time at their place. Just a small downside on the medium quality bedding. I still recommend this address 🙂

Stayed for around 4 nights and had an absolutely wonderful winter holidays together with my young family. The house is stunning the interior design is lovely and and the views are heavenly. Log fire with plenty of fuel was a big hit! pool and hotub a once a day at least activity for the kids especially during bank holidays. The fully stocked playroom was perfect for our young children. Really captured some great memories together with our family in this peaceful location and setting and came away wanting more!

Patrick and Marie are very empathic and helpful. It's a lovely warm cottage with excellent kitchen, washing machine and comfortable beds on the second floor.

Top stay at Pierrick's! The beautifully decorated house with all the amenities is the perfect place to relax and have a great family holiday. The view from the terrace is beautiful. The garden is very large and allows you to feel alone in the world. The house is super convenient and well equipped for cooking. The rooms are very nice thanks to perfect bedding. A superb fireplace allows you to give a very warm atmosphere to your evenings. Communication with Pierrick was very good and very responsive from start to finish. We feel super welcome. Thank you again for the thoughtful attention to our arrival. The added bonus that makes you happy! I would 100% recommend this listing.

We had a wonderful few days in Matt’s delightful flat - everything was as described but even better. The decor is lovely, the flat had everything we needed and the view is exceptional. We couldn’t have asked for a better holiday.

We had a wonderful stay at Emmanuelle and Pierre's apartment! They were more than adorable, even offering us to pick us up by car upon arrival. They answered our questions and were flexible on arrival and departure. The apartment was spotless, the location very peaceful. We took advantage of the surrounding area to ride a bike for 4 days. We recommend eyes a second thought!

We had a great weekend at Clément and Christine's place who welcomed us remarkably well. The apartment is impeccable, impeccably clean and very well-equipped ( nothing is missing). It is also decorated with great taste and attention, which gives it a warm atmosphere, which we greatly appreciated. The comfortable exteriors of the apartment offer a remarkable view of Saint Malo on one side and Dinard on the other. The residence, very secure, is in absolute calm, in a green environment with walking access to the beach! In addition , the hospitality of our hosts was friendly and very easy to contact. We would highly recommend it and will return for our next stay in Dinard.

A pleasant stay at Christianne and Michel's. Lovely hosts,a warm welcome. They took time to receive us and show us around. A super clean accommodation. Very quiet. All the necessary equipment to cook. Shower products and towels available. Essential grocery store in abundance . In short,we who came back from a stay in a cottage in France with a single dishwasher tablet for a week and 2 tea towels warmed our hearts! We recommend without hesitation!

Fantastic place, had everything we needed. The host made the apartment very welcoming and very clear instructions easy to follow. Looking forward to returning in the future.

Stayed here over the New Year period and it was perfect. Great location, the sea view was spectacular and the log burner was a great addition given the cold weather. Local pubs were so friendly and food was great. Will definitely return, thank you.
