Farmhouse river cottage with boat ramp

CalebRating, 5 stars1 month ago
One of the better Airbnb's my family and I have stayed in, definitely need to read the directions to get there first but once you know it, it's easy to come and go. With some carriers you'll have no signal and there is no internet there, but if you don't mind that it's a great experience. From the house it's about 15 mins to Folkston, 30 mins to Callahan, 1 hr to central Jacksonville, and 10 mins to the Okefenokee swamp entrance, you can book kayaking, boat, and tours in advance. Great place for an semi-isolated family stay.

Railroad Retreat on the Lake

TiffanyRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Casey’s place was the perfect home base for our vacation exploring the Okefenokee. The location was convenient for accessing the wildlife refuge and far enough out of town to be a peaceful retreat. The kitchen was well stocked for making meals and Casey and her husband were super friendly and knowledgeable about the area.

Conductor’s Corner Railside Cottage - Folkston, GA

Fantastic renovation! The place looks beautiful and is tastefully decorated. Kitchen is very well equipped, and the beds were comfortable. Location can't be beat if you love trains - my husband is a train buff and loved looking at the trains. We could walk to eateries and shops. Parking was right in front of the house, super easy!

Stars Aligned River Retreat. Grill. Firepit.

MelRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
I traveled to see snow, and ended up finding an absolute gem. Shelby communicated expediently and was very helpful and accommodating of my last minute trip. I was delighted to find the cabin spacious and clean, and with a very peaceful vibe. The natural wood furniture is reminiscent of being in a cabin in the mountains. The windows offer expansive views and the cozy reading nooks invite relaxation and the feel of being in a treehouse. The boardwalk through the trees to the edge of the river is absolutely gorgeous. The shared space is very welcoming. And this in addition to the option of the private backyard with fire pit and grill as well. I will definitely return to enjoy the peace and serenity of the cabin and this property in warmer seasons.

Okefenokee Cottage near Train Platform

Very clean, comfortable bed, good shower - great value. Bring salt and pepper, etc., if you’re planning on eating in, as the kitchen didn’t have any staples whatsoever.

Loft Style Blue Home Pool & ATV Trails

AshleyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We went for my son’s 10th birthday because he likes to ride dirt bikes and the trails were right off the property. The house itself was clean. We wished there was a bathroom on the first floor but other than that it was fine. The surrounding properties were a little shocking (the house just across the way is an eye sore). Even though they are calling it a camp people still lived there full time (own their property). There are neighbors beside as well, but their place is nice and well managed but they were not overly friendly (didn’t say hi or wave). Overall we had fun trail riding and the host was very accommodating.
