Vacation rentals with breakfast in Charlton Kings

We had a lovely stay at Ann’s house. We arrived to a generous welcome packet of essentials and snacks and two lovely bottles of Prosecco. The house is old with lots of character but the facilities are modern and work well. We stayed at the end of April but the pool was heated for us and we used it every day, we were thankful for the hot tub to warm up on the more overcast days! The kitchen is wonderfully stocked with plates and glasses for entertaining and the Aga and bbq worked well. If you have small children I would recommend bringing plastic crockery as there wasn’t much of that. We would definitely look to come back if we are in the area.

My second stay at Anne’s place and just as good as before. Anne left me what I required for breakfast which was kind of her. The room and bathroom are ideal for a single traveler. The local pub only 10 minutes away is a good spot and served good food. Would definitely recommend. Thank you Anne.

Such a beautiful Airbnb - the pictures do not do it justice, we all joked that the whole house was like a Pinterest board! Check-in was smooth & flexible, the house was very clean with plenty of facilities for cooking, the location is great as it's just a 5-10-minute walk into the town of Stroud, 5 minutes from a Tesco. The hostess was lovely & very flexible about our checkout time as well. Thanks so much Vona Vila for a wonderful weekend.

Ursula is very friendly and welcoming, she came to greet us when we arrived and made sure we had everything we needed and that there was cereal, porridge and fresh fruit for breakfast which was a lovely touch! It's a really nice place in a quiet and pretty area, very clean and exactly how it was described/pictured on Airbnb. Would definitely recommend :)

Julian and Penelope were incredibly warm, hospitable and welcoming as hosts. Despite the difficulties I faced getting over to the Cotswolds (No fault of theirs I must add), they were always accommodating, responsive and understanding of my situation. To top things off, Penelope cooked me a wonderful cooked breakfast first thing in the morning before I headed back to London. I really cannot recommend them enough.

Alex’s place is a real gem, it is very spacious and beautifully decorated. Alex is a fantastic host very responsive, answering all questions very quickly before and during the stay. We will definitely be coming back again.

Very peaceful stay in a lovely cottage, beautiful view surrounded by horses and nice enclosed garden for our dogs. Great location for exploring Shropshire and the Malvern Hills. Thanks very much!

Although I had to return home quickly and didn't get chance to stay, I would highly recommend Lisa's flat. She takes pride and great care to provide a lovely place to stay. I have never met anyone on airbnb so helpful and friendly who definitely goes the extra mile to help in any way that she can.

Katrina is just the most wonderful host. From the moment I booked her beautiful air bnb, she kept in contact, checked for any dietary restrictions for the welcome basket, gave us options for the beds being made up and provided the clearest instructions of how to find the air bnb and how to get in. On arrival, there was the loveliest welcome basket, milk, bread, a beautiful breakfast spread, everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay and one of the cleanest, most homely places I’ve ever stayed. The perfect location to explore the Malvern Hills, with multiple walking routes and a great pub right on the doorstep too. Thank you for such a wonderful, welcoming stay, we can’t wait to come back and have already recommend it to family and friends!

Tasteful, civilised, comfortable. Julian's place has been beautifully and cleverly designed with the guest in mind. Little things, such as quality products and underfloor heating in the bathroom, make a big difference. The big things are fabulous too. Julian is helpful, efficient and friendly The location is excellent. In short, it's a bargain.

Lovely flat, close to Cheltenham centre. Lots of amenities on the doorstep. Very clean and clutter free. Would recommend without hesitation

my wife Clare started at Kathryn's place while visiting Cheltenham and had the following to report : "I had a very comfortable stay in Kathryn's garden room. It was lovely to be able to sit in her garden listening to birdsong during the evening. Kathryn is a warm & welcoming host and provided a very tasty breakfast of cereals & delicious fresh fruit. Gorgeous place, exactly as advertised. We had a lovely stay at Gabi’s and Manfred’s. Breakfast was delicious (apple pancakes!). 100% recommend the cinema experience. Thank you to our wonderful hosts!

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Inge & Robert’s home. The room was cozy, spotless, and thoughtfully arranged—I slept wonderfully both nights! Their house and garden are beautifully decorated, with every detail reflecting their great taste—it felt like staying in a peaceful retreat. Inge and Robert were exceptionally kind hosts. When I ran into a small issue during my stay, they immediately offered help with genuine warmth, which I deeply appreciated. Their thoughtfulness truly made me feel at home. Stayed at Fiona’s beautiful home to attend a local wedding. It was a perfect place for our short visit to the wonderful Cotswolds. Fiona is a great host and made us very welcome. She provided us with a lovely breakfast which set us up for the day. Wouldn’t hesitate to return should the opportunity arise.

Michael is an extraordinary host who treated us like family from the moment we arrived! Staying at Greyhounds is like stepping back to a more peaceful and gentile time where Michael takes care of your every need. Breakfast is superb with at least a dozen types of fresh fruit and a large variety of foods for all tastes. Everything is served on fine English china. Our favorite part of the property was the amazing English garden. We were fortunate enough to have beautiful weather and sat for long periods of time just enjoying the garden. Our favorite part of the day was when we returned from dinner, and sat around the fireplace with other guests from different countries with Michael entertaining us with his wit and knowledge of Burford and all things English.
