Lake house vacation rentals in Chatuge Lake

Cheryl and her husband were awesome. Very responsive and helpful. The house was just what was described. We were down for a high school/junior tournament and the private boat ramp was perfect for launching our boats each day of practice.

This house was clean, beautifully furnished, comfortable, and had a well-stocked kitchen. Our party of eight enjoyed cooking some very nice meals, eating together, relaxing in the living room and outside on the covered deck and patio, playing ping pong, and riding in the kayaks. We were very happy with our stay!

Our family has been coming to Bear Paw for the last 20 years for our family reunion. This was our first time in this cabin, and it didn't disappoint. Plenty of space, and our children truly enjoyed the game room and well stocked board games. We ended up meeting the neighbors when enjoying the lake and they were so wonderful as well.

Everything was as listed. Nice and clean. Modern furniture, fixtures, and tile. Made me feel at home but in the country. Would stay here if I could every time we visit.

Sunsets and Siestas was fantastic! Alan and Sylvia were responsive and friendly leading up to and during our stay. The home was very well equipped with furnishings, bedding, etc. The kitchen was a huge success. We were amazed at how many amenities were in the kitchen. We cooked everyday and the kitchen was well appointed with dual ovens and many other great features and appliances. The new Weber grill outside was also a great added feature! Our entire family of 16 had plenty of space to enjoy the house, pool, boat dock, and outdoor fireplace/hot tub area! I highly recommend Sunsets and Siestas! Lake Keowee and the entire area is full of outdoor adventures and fun for all ages.

I had a great stay at this Airbnb! The place was nice, clean, and very quiet—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The host was welcoming, and everything was just as described. I would definitely stay here again!

I can't say enough about Lisa's home! It had everything listed and more. The thoughtfulness in the little details made this the best experience we have had with an Airbnb. This home is beautiful and the amenities at the lake were perfect. Our family had a wonderful week and hope to do it again in the future.

The house is great, the location and view are perfect, and the host is very helpful and responsive. The house had a lot of great amenities, perfect for a family. Boat rental was super easy, and we enjoyed using the kayaks and standup paddle boards. Our young children loved the beach area, and the adults enjoyed the Hottub. The lake, of course, is beautiful, and the fishing good as well. We’ll definitely return.

My family and I stayed at Gilbert’s cabin for the Christmas Holidays and really enjoyed it. The cabin sits on a large piece of land, so even though there are neighbors it feels very private. It was very quiet and the fire pit outside was the perfect place to stargaze. The cabin is only 10-15 minutes to downtown Blue Ridge and there are also plenty of hikes nearby as well. We would love to come back in the summertime and enjoy the lake!

We needed a large place close to family for a memorial service & this place was 4 minutes away from other family. It had enough room for us all. There was plenty of parking for all of our cars & plenty of beds! The only thing that wasn’t perfect was the counter space in the large kitchen. We were making Easter dinner & cooking for a large group which was difficult with no counter space. A large rolling island would be great in that space. However, we enjoyed the rocking chairs on the deck. The kids played the games & enjoyed both large TV’s. There was plenty of dining space with the 2 tables inside & 1 outside. We gathered for a sad occasion but still made good memories with our family in this home.

Tracie’s place was absolutely spotless, updated, and so peaceful. We would live here full time if we could! We LOVED the fence in yard for our dogs and the screened in back porch. The hot tub & lake were so fun too. We hope to come back to catch a Clemson football game in the fall.

First off, Wendy is a spectacular human! She was the sweetest! I messaged her to see if we could check in a little early, not only could we check in early she let us know it was ready before the early check-in! She checked on us to see if we needed anything done around the house, leaves or wanted the Christmas decor down! It was just outstanding and we loved the Christmas decor! The boat dock was so peaceful and was my workout everyday!!! We will be back for sure!! It’s like we are family now!

This is the 3rd time I have stayed at Brenda's place and I love it there❤️Every detail is thought out. We would have loved to stay longer. Brenda is very thoughtful and a great communicator The big fireplace is so welcome with these cool nights !!

The crew loved the place.! It was very comfortable, they enjoyed the backyard, how come and private it was. It was perfect! It looks exactly like the pictures! Host responded fast and was very flexible with our check-in times. Highly recommended…

This is our second day here. We love the surroundings, walkable trail to the lake, water and trees, wildlife. The house has plenty of space and everything that is needed. We really enjoyed our stay same as before.

This house was perfect for our family over Thanksgiving weekend. It was was clean, cozy, and well stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect with multiple neighborhood amenities and the view from the back porch over the lake is stunning - especially if you catch the sunrise. Quick and easy communication with Mike. Highly recommend.

Perfect spot for our somewhat last minute getaway. Secluded and quiet, but close to several towns if you want to have supper or listen to a little music. The water right off the dock is deep and swimmable, and the kayaks are great for an easy trip to the main channel of Lake Hartwell. The house itself is beautiful, and comfortable(an important combination). Very clean, with all the necessities that are often absent in vacation rentals(lake towels! coffee filters! salt!). We really loved this lake cabin, and can’t wait to go back.

The house was exactly as advertised. Incredibly clean and well stocked. Easy to get in and even smelled great. The kitchen was equipped with EVERY utensil we possibly needed. We were only able to use the paddle boards on our last day due to weather but they were great when we did. Also enjoyed a campfire and saw a million stars on clear nights. Overall we loved the place and felt right at home.

With it being a tournament weekend and the reason for our stay, it would have been very helpful to have access to charge the boat batteries. Overall, had a very enjoyable visit and will stay again if we are ever in another tournament in Lanier. Thanks, The Roach's

Beautiful, peaceful place overlooking Lake Santeelah. We enjoyed it very much. This was our second time at Little Hickory and loved it even more. Michelle and Kirk are great hosts and very accommodating. Can’t wait to go back.
