A formidable castle, with a lot of history maintaining charm for centuries! Lovely family! For one day we went to the nobility ! 😎

It is a beautiful place very centrally located for sightseeing and the supermarket is 5 minutes from the castle , the apartment is very nicely furnished with furniture Napoleon III . I will come again for sure. Thx Ursula

A very unique experience. The castle is just beautiful. Gilles gave us a very warm welcome and we truly felt homely in the apartment.

Beautifully restored chateau, spacious room and comfortable bed. Great breakfast. Richard was an attentive host and gave us lots of information about the local area. We enjoyed our stay and would go back.

My siblings and I held a family reunion at Chateau de Villejovet for 43 people. Our host, Mr Bidault, prepared a fabulous luncheon, complete with outdoor tent, servers, and an excellent lunch. The chateau was perfect for this venue and was such a relaxing place for all our relatives. I would highly recommend this place for anyone with a large group who needs a lovely place to stay or organize a large get together. Thank you for helping to make our visit so memorable.

Beautifully recently renovated (2021) gites that meets all the comforts! Two airconditioners, two toilets, large fridge, freezer, oven, microwave, electric hob, waffle iron, coffee maker, kettle and even more.. Great bed and nice bathroom. Gilles was really friendly. The gites is located on a dead end street. The pool is next to the church (2min walk). Lovely pool, clean, share with other guests - but that wasn't a problem for us. There is also a toilet and changing room by the pool. Also spacious garden with lounge set. Car you park by the garden, behind closed doors. For example, the car is free and safe. That's nice. The Loire is a beautiful river. Village is quiet and the area is beautiful. Restaurant M was recommended!

Beautiful 17th century castle weathered by time. An enchanting place. A real haven of peace in the middle of a park of several hectares and yet 7 minutes from shops and the train station of Cosne-cours-sur-Loire. We were a family of 19 + a dog and everyone was delighted with the stay. Peace and rest. Tastefully decorated rooms, period furniture, and very comfortable bedding. Sophie is a very friendly host, full of good tips for activity ideas and accommodating for check-in and check-out times. Thank you so much for hosting us. We had a wonderful 3 days. We took advantage of the nice weather to eat out among the birdsong. I recommend this property .

Wonderful stay in a story book setting.

Beautiful castle, beautiful authentic details with a large garden. The suite was tastefully decorated and comfortable. Nice breakfast. Laure was very friendly and welcoming. Wonderful place to relax, too bad we could only stay one night.

The cottage is very nicely furnished. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, all equipped with en-suite bathrooms. The living room is lovely and very large. The cottage is quite comfortable for a group of 12 people. The cottage is located in the castle of Ainay le Viel, and the rental allows free entrance to the park of the castle, a small bonus much appreciated. We'll be happy to go back!

Fantastic summer holiday for our party of 8 adults and 11 children. We swam in the river, played table tennis, swam in the pool, played pool, fed the chickens, played tennis and had many dinners and lunches on the fabulous endless benches and tables outside. The beds are all very comfortable & of high quality - they are also a great size (I’m 6ft 4). The accommodation is very well appointed & there are lots of charming finishing touches. There are two great supermarkets about 12 mins drive away. The hosts could not have been kinder or more generous. Would warmly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Marina's apartment. The castle is in a plausible place and the apartment, located on the top floor allows you to have a very nice view of part of the estate. The apartment very much matches the description given. We will renew a stay at Marina's with great pleasure
