Nice quiet place in Penn Hills Welcome everyone to my log cabin Ideal for a solo traveler, Have a good day everyone Thanks for stopping by Tam
“Tam is so kind, generous and hospitable. He shared his food with me and made me feel so comfortable. He even let me bring my son with me when he didn’t have school. Tam is one of the best hosts I have ever met. Tam’s house is so cozy and serene. I only live 20 min away from Tam’s house but I needed a quiet place to study and relax. Tam’s place was the perfect one. I practically had the whole house to my self when Tam is working and I can barely notice his presence as he is so quiet when he is home. His backyard backs up to the wood so you can wake up in the morning to the tweeting birds. I sat many times in the back sipping on some fresh mint tea from Tam’s backyard and enjoying the aroma from the honeysuckle plants. If you are looking for a quiet place to study or just to escape the noisy streets, look no further. Tam’s place is the perfect one.”
Fully renovated first floor apartment in a two unit duplex in Regent Square, Pittsburgh, PA. Lots of windows and sunshine! There is one bedroom with a queen sized bed. There is also a queen sized air mattress. Close to many local restaurants, bars, cafes, and the bus line. Next to the best park in town! Free street parking. Easy access to local universities (Pitt, CMU, Duquense), East Liberty, Squirrel Hill, Oakland, South Side, downtown and the stadium district. No cleaning fees.
“Such a cute apartment and so clean! The kitchen was stocked which was great so I was able to cook some meals. There were so many cute coffee shops within walking distance and Giant Eagle, Trader Joe’s, and Whole Foods within 15 minute drives. I would stay again!”
A one bedroom guesthouse, on the historic grounds of Glenshaw's "Shaw House". The guesthouse was built on the foundation of a nearly 200 year old farm shed, and backs up against the property's hillside. Convenient parking on ground level, with lots of foliage and privacy. The house feels like it is in the country, but is a short 9 miles from downtown Pittsburgh, with easy access to both the PA turnpike and route 28.
“This place is very private and cute, secluded in the back area of the property right up against some woods on a large hill. It has a nice porch where you can sit out and enjoy your morning coffee or just to relax. It's perfect for 1-2 people to have a small private getaway. The fridge is a little small but we didn't have any issues keeping our food and beverages cold. The location is very close to a grocery store and gas station. Also about a 15 minute drive from downtown Pittsburgh and the attractions there. Mary Katherine was very attentive and was quick to respond to any questions we had. The best part of it was the privacy that we were able to have, while still being very close to the city and attractions. The road that it's located on isn't great for walking since there are no sidewalks, but everything about the property itself and host was really good.”
