Gayle’s Nook is a fantastic getaway. It somehow manages to be both private and within a short walk or drive from major amenities. The sunset was amazing and Gayle herself was equally so. When the power unexpectedly cut out, she immediately texted with clear instructions on where to find candles and a lighter. My only regret is that I couldn’t stay longer!

When we walked in we felt so at home, the big open floor plan was so nice just as you see in the description. We also saw a plate full of delicious homemade chocolate chip cookies another a sweet gesture, the large screened in porch was so enjoyable also. We were in amazed at the beautiful lake right outside in the back yard. A couple of us fished, some enjoyed the warm sunshine of relaxing or reading. The best part to us dog lovers, was the large fenced in area for our two small dogs they experienced play time, sights & sounds that they had never seen or heard, never seen water so close before. All of the amenities, to many to mention. We did not want or need anything that was not already provided and thought of, NOTHING was missed. My husband and I invited my two sister's and one brother in law. We even met our host Mrs. Gwendolyn, she stopped by while we were all outside enjoyed talking to her so much. This place was very nice and spacious. Has everything you need, especially if you are participating in any out activities like hunting and fishing. Very well managed. The owner is very nice and attentive. Responds very fast. All amenities worked great!

It was a very relaxing space. The beds were comfortable and very quiet. The bike trail close by was a great bonus. Thank you so much and we highly recommend the accommodation.
