This treasure is a stand alone art studio with a loft surrounded by beautiful lawn and gardens. There are agricultural fields on three sides and a scenic lake in the rear. The artist, Beverly Mayfield, is now deceased, but has filled the studio with masterful paintings.
“Randy's friendly demeanor and smile greeted us upon arrival. He walked us through the garden that he is so lovingly attentive to and shared his pride for all the beautiful flowers and trees that he has planted. The cottage walls are filled with an array of various paintings by Randy's late wife. Strokes of water color and oil will give you something beautiful to look at everyday. The grounds are kept clean and manicured. We brought our hammock and watched beautiful sunsets from the yard then listened to the sound of crickets and frogs while they serenade the view of a starry night sky. If you want a little peace in this crazy world we're living in... you're guaranteed to receive that at the cottage.”
Our cozy "Artist Cottage" will accommodate two adults. It is nestled in the woods and provides peace, quiet and the sounds of nature. Disconnect from the TV and internet for a stress free visit. A short distance from Diving Springs and Kayaking. Close to Seacrest Wolf Preserve and area State Parks. Travel one exit west on interstate I10 for restaurant's and groceries. Thank you for understanding that children and pets are not accepted.
“This was such a nice and quiet space to enjoy as a couple. It was very clean and had a wonderful screened in porch which was a great place to sit and enjoy a morning cup of coffee or the evening air. Suzanne is a great artist and we enjoyed viewing her paintings that were displayed throughout the space!There were no noise or distractions from others, as this place was tucked into a nice wooded area off of main roads. This little cottage was about an hour drive to Destin, which my wife and I enjoyed very much! I would definitely stay here again should I find myself up in the area. We had a great 4th of July weekend here thanks to Suzanne!”

“This tiny house has everything you could want out of an Airbnb stay. Extremely clean, has all the essentials and more, close to the highway while also extremely quiet and feels secluded. Plenty of living space inside, could sleep 4 very comfortably. Bed was comfortable, linens were fresh plus the essential oil pillow spray was a great touch. The value is extraordinary. A hotel room would be about the same size and cost at least double and not have cooking availability. We will stay here again any time we pass through this area. Thanks y'all!”
