Cabin 6 is our most popular unit. With wood log walls inside it's about 900 sq. ft and sleeps up to 5 people. It's got a full size fridge, gas stove, microwave and a full set of dishes, pots and pans, utensils, etc. There's a wood burning stove plus gas and electric heaters. It has a large foyer/entryway for all your outdoor gear. The patio out back offers unobstructed views to the lake, while the log bench out front is a perfect spot to sit and watch the sunset over Wheeler Peak, NM's tallest.

The inside is dark adobe with gold straw, with flagstone floors, and rustic Sycamore Oak beams. 3 kivas fireplaces too! This unique place has a style all its own. Resting in an old mining town with a great view of Baldy and Wheeler mountain. You can find us about halfway between Angel Fire and Red River, both amazing ski resorts! The bunkhouse is 1 bedroom with a sitting room, and a small bathroom, and shower. We have a swivel TV, and the internet. My husband and I live in the house next door with our 2 friendly dogs, and cats, so if there are any concerns, we are close by. We would love to host you!

STUNNING RANCH HEADQUARTERS SURROUNDED BY WILDLIFE

It is a wonderful experience to stay in our beautiful home in the mountains of Northern New Mexico surrounded by vast ranch lands. Viewing wildlife and observing nature is a favorite pastime for our guests and the wildlife is everywhere, from birds in the sky and in the water to many elk, deer and other mammals abound. The log home is modern and refined in its restoration although it is now 100 years old and is unique to our area in its style and comfort. We DO NOT ALLOW PETS.
