Wonderful home and equally wonderful host. Had gift dog bones with ribbons ready for my dogs on arrival, and dog paw pattern soft fleece blankets out for them. Dr Lori helped adjust checkin time for us and then very appreciated by us, went above and beyond to check on our well being when she noticed we were not able to return for one of our nights unexpectedly.

Our stay was wonderful. We came back to Loudoun County for our 50th wedding anniversary. Our two sons and daughter-in-law stayed with us and it was great staying together. Dr Lori was a great host and we hope to come back in the near future. Christa

We stayed for a low key bachelorette weekend and thought the house was perfect for us! Having the pool was the best part as we did a pool day one of the days. My dogs joined and loved the pool as well. Very close to wineries, which was perfect for our party bus/winery day! Definitely recommend :-)

This is a good value. I stayed while attending an event at the Salamander over the weekend which is about a 20 min drive on mostly back roads. The space is private and quiet. The room does not have a lock, which made me slightly uncomfortable. There are many animals at this home. Outdoor cats greeted me at each arrival as well as small yappy dogs who cannot reach you while outside. Parking was easily accessible. Lori is very communicative and shared clear information.

Yes, the home reminded me on the outside of my grandmother's, where I spent most of my summers as a kid. But it also had that extra touch that upon entering, felt like an immediate hug. Dr. Lori was the ideal host… responsive, cheerful, helpful, and well informed. The owners really did think of everything. The kitchen had all we needed and then some and was spotless. Our two dogs loved the massive, rolling grounds and really, really loved the pool. We loved the extraordinarily comfortable bed in the main suite upstairs and the comfortable TV room (with massive TV). And, what's not to love about a large, clean swimming pool in August? Bonus item we failed to notice when we were looking for a place to stay: there's is a very good brewery at the end of the road, terrific barbecue within just a couple of miles, and wineries all over the place. It was an ideal – albeit all too short – getaway and we hope to return soon.
