Waterfront vacation rentals in Cologne

Beautiful small apartment directly on the Rhine, great starting point for hikes and excursions in the area. We stayed here for four nights and felt very much at home. Easy and fast communication with Jacqueline! Thank you, we will be happy to come back.

We had a fantastic weekend at Alex's place. The apartment corresponded to the pictures and we immediately felt comfortable, the communication in advance went perfectly and the view from the balcony was unique. For those who want to spend a relaxing weekend (or longer) in a great city, I highly recommend Alex and his place.

Everything worked smoothly from start to finish, communication was very nice and responses came promptly. The place was great, the location mega! We felt comfortable all around and will come back again!

Just great! The reason for our stay was purely private in nature. The apartment served as a retreat for quite stressful days and this was absolutely great for that. This tranquility overlooking the Rhine is very relaxing. The amenities are great! Nothing is "spoiled", everything is in the best order.

I had a very nice stay at Tobias' apartment. The apartment was clean and matched the pictures and description. It had everything you needed. Communication was great. Check-in and check-out were straightforward. Definitely recommendable!

We've been there for the second time and everything we wrote in September last year, we can only confirm again. I'm sure we'll be back ;-)

We felt very comfortable in Christina's house. The amenities are very high quality and thoughtful. We were particularly pleased that the dog was able to come along and that there were so many games for the kids. You can also quickly walk down to the lake or walk a bit into the forest, from where you have a beautiful view of Lake Rur. We highly recommend taking the boat across the lake - you can get off and back at the stops. After checking out, we had an exchange with Christina because of an ambiguity and that was very friendly and transparent at all times. Therefore, we can fully recommend not only the house, but also the landlady:-)

The house is spacious and has a really nice layout. Rooms are big, and the bathroom is very comfortable. Perfect for our family of 4 and 2 friends. Some small downsides are the view from the garden, you overlook the valley with some industry and the highway is quite nearby, you can hear it from the garden. But we guess the garden would feel very different in spring and summer when the trees have all their leaves. We had some difficulties with the floor heating, but I'm am sure this will get fixed, since Yewgenija is a super host who went out of her way to answer our questions asap and is very open to suggestions on how to improve the house and the experience of her guests. The area is very nice for daytrips and walks and the Ahr and its small villages are certainly worth the trip, although I would rather recommend a visit outside of winter. Since the big flood of 2021 a lot has been done to rebuild the area and the Ahr-valley residents are very warm and welcoming to tourists!

The apartment looks 1:1 like in the photos and is very cozy. The square at the large dining table overlooking the river is a dream to eat and play, the bathrooms and showers are super clean and modern. The five of us had a great stay and felt completely comfortable.

We spent New Year's Eve in the Stranzenburg in a small group. Really a beautiful unique house with charm! Ursula was a great host who even greeted us with a cake. If you have any questions, we were always able to reach out and received a quick response. We were all very comfortable.

Very nice traditional German house on the Rein's bank. Beautiful location for the nature lovers. Lot of possibilities for walking. House is close the railway but one doesn't hear this inside of the house. Recommended for the nature and history lovers.

Very nice place and modern. Close to everything, especially Dusseldorf. Great kitchen. Large refrigerator. If available I will stay here every time. (Note: There is no Marco, but his father Vittorio. Very kind man)

We had a very nice weekend. Cottage is beautiful, very well equipped and matched well with the listing. Region around Solingen is also beautiful, you can enjoy hiking and also cycling. Communication with Alexandra was smooth and clear. Recommended!

Farmhouse renovated with great taste and in beautiful surroundings. We loved the grand piano to practice some Fur Elise after visiting Beethoven’s house ;-)

Listing is as described and photographed: beautiful view, great location, very comfortable bedding, very convenient bike storage. Optional and paid services are offered: early Check in, late Check out, additional guest; allowing for some flexibility. Hosts are very responsive and make sure everything goes smoothly. As stated in the listing, the listing does not have a kitchen, but plenty to warm up with coffee or tea. For Montjoie, the value for money is very good, even if it is possible to find cheaper by getting away from this charming but very touristy city. Nice stop on the VennBahn!

We had a Wonderful week at Gabi’s place! The community was very quiet. Absolutely loved sitting on the deck, watching the river traffic go by. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, etc. Also some coffee to start with, spices, oil, etc. Also really appreciated the aluminum foil, plastic wrap, and some small bags. There was even 2 nice trays to carry food and beverages out to the deck. There were several large grocery stores within 10 minute drive, REWE, Lidl, Edeka, and Norma. Would Love to return!!

Friendly host, gives you all the necessary information, offers further information if necessary, inquires if everything is okay, and is at the same time pleasantly reserved (doesn't annoy, but you know if something should be, he takes care of it). Check-in is very easy and attention is paid to details in the furnishing and preparation of the apartment, we enjoyed it very much. The bed was a little short for my relatively large partner, but we could have seen that from the photos beforehand. Location and views are of course super nice. We would book again.

So was a very responsive host. Prior to check in and throughout the stay, so kept in touch to make sure we arrived ok, had what we needed, and answered any questions I had. The space was nice and worked well with our family of 8. The space was extremely clean and well maintained. I appreciated that there was coffee, sugar and creamer in the cabinet. I am not sure that is always there, but it was nice to have it for the morning. Beds were comfortable. We had a very nice stay and would recommend this airbnb.

Everything worked out beautifully! The place is well maintained, very clean and exactly as described. Benjamin was super friendly even before arrival and the warm welcome immediately made up for our turbulent arrival. Clear recommendation – always happy to come back!

Our stay was really very nice in the apartment. Judith took care of herself warmly, kept asking if everything was good or if we had any questions. The apartment was very clean, everything was thought of - spices in the kitchen, shampoo &‘ Co in the bathroom, beds made &‘ a pack of Milka on the table. ☺️ We were completely satisfied with 7 people & would love to come back again. Thank you! ☺️
