Perched at 1,200 metres in the alpine pastures, this exceptional cottage, a former building from the 1950s, is very comfortable. Carefully restored, the essentials have been preserved: light, space. Wherever you are in the house, the landscape is prominent. A bow window, a panoramic veranda, and windows frame the landscape, clouds, and variations in light. Here, we live with the outdoors.

Set in the countryside, 4 kilometers from Condat and adjoining our home, is our Cantal farmhouse known as a longère. Thick stone walls, wooden beams, large living room with traditional fire place and log burner, internet tv, two bedrooms, bathroom, and fitted kitchen. Enjoy sitting by a roaring log fire in the winter or in the shade of the old lime tree with a glass of wine enjoying the spectacular views in the summer. Whatever the time of year, you’ll enjoy the Longère’s comfort and charm.

Buron lost in the mountains at 1300m altitude. it is only accessible on foot from the farm of La Loubeyre. A unique experience with a breathtaking view of the Sancy and the lakes of the Cézallier. to know the life of the buronniers of yesteryear. WARNING: Inland water is cut off in winter. There is still a tap accessible in the bathroom for drinking water, kitchen and toilet. The full circuit was restored in the spring. Do not use the wood stove, it is broken.
