Vacation rentals in Convento Vecchio

This was probably the single best AirBnB we ever stayed in. It was immaculately clean, well-appointed. Eleonora was a perfect hostess. The location was ideal for us--it's just outside the old center of Florence, a 20 minute walk from the most touristed parts of the center, but as a result it was nice and quiet, and residential. The apartment is so well-decorated, elegant...and being so clean and lovely is not a given in Italy (we have much experience and this was by far the nicest in Italy we've ever stayed in). Brava, Eleonora!

For our family vacation, three couples and a 1-year old, the place was perfect. The ability to spend the heat of the day in the huge pool or inside the refreshing lodging made the stay excellent. The place is close to groceries, pharmaceuticals, restaurants, local sites, cities, etc. Ken was always responsive to whatever issue we brought up and his quick replies were greatly appreciated.

There are not words for our wonderful stay at Daniele and Barbara's house. It's a whole family affair, with both parents taking care of us and the house. You can tell they all have the kindest souls and did their best to make us feel welcome and at home even with the language barrier! The house was very clean and had a beautiful view - I've never seen a more beautiful sunrise, honestly. The driveway is steep but we made it up just fine in our 9 passenger van. It is easy to find and it is very easy to access the downtown area. There are a lot of grocery options nearby and restaurants, as well. We tried to take the train one day but couldn't find parking - just a warning if you plan to do the same (though with a smaller car, you might be fine). The house is very close to some good wineries and easy to access Greve in Chianti, which was a nice visit. The house itself had very comfortable beds, clean bathrooms and nice water pressure in the showers. I would recommend this stay to anyone!

Sergio's place is fantastic and Sergio is a great host! I almost don't want to say how wonderful our experience was, for fear it will be hard to get in the future. The location is walkable to anywhere you want to be in Florence. The apartment is spacious and having two bathrooms was convenient. Sergio was incredibly responsive and just gave you the sense he was there to make your trip great. This was our first time to Italy and it is going to be hard to find places in other locations that live up to the standard Sergio and his place set.

Sowohl die Unterkunft, als auch die Gastgeber waren super. Es war sehr ruhig und idyllisch, der Außenbereich lädt zum Entspannen und Verweilen ein. Supermärkte und Restaurants können mit dem Auto in <10 Minuten erreicht werden und die Lage ist perfekt für Tagesausflüge in alle Teile der Toskana. This small old house in the 12th-13th century medieval village is tastefully furnished and excellently equipped. We think the two bathrooms are a big bonus, it was very useful for us. In addition, we would highlight the equipment of the kitchen and the quality of the bed mattresses.The host lady lives right next to the accomodation, a few steps away, which gives security. She was very flexible and patient with our late arrival. You can only park a little further from the house, but it seemed safe and a short walk would not hurt.Overall, we recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, romantic stay.

Such an amazing place. On the top floor with beautiful views over Siena. Lucia stocked up the refrigerator with water, juice boxes & beer and the cupboards with some light breakfast toasts, jam & Nutella. It was quiet and peaceful, no need for the earplugs we always carry. There are 4 flights of stairs to climb to get to the unit.

This place is an absolute gem! It was so breathtakingly beautiful, that we tried to delay our flights and stay longer! Every single family member was lovely! It truly did feel like home. My husband and I cannot wait to come back and bring family with us too. There simply aren't any words to describe how much we loved our time at Peruzzo!
