We loved the house and location! The only issue we had was the driveway was hard to get in and out of because we were in a big van. Elise was so accommodating to all of our needs! Pavones is a beautiful area of Costa Rica and we will be back!

We loved staying again! The location is perfect for us - both on the beautiful beach, and near the point. The house is set up just right to enjoy with friends with large gathering spaces, and still have some space of your own. We appreciate the care taken before arrival - the house is spotless, and has a homey feel with coffee and staples to get you started. Thank you for another terrific extended stay! We'll see you again!

Our group of six, four adults and two kiddos had a nice stay at Jamie’s place! The space is simple and clean and matches the description well. We especially loved the easy access to the river and beach! Jamie was very helpful in letting us borrow tubes and boogie boards and we floated down the river almost every evening for sunset. We saw a sloth on the property and lots of cool creatures in the river. Jamie was very friendly, flexible and helpful during our stay!

The location is absolutely amazing. If you surf you’re only about a 8 minute walk to the surf spot. You can walk to many different restaurants, grocery store. Every morning we were woken by different kinds of birds singing. The place itself is very nice. I do have a few negative things, the pillows are super thin, there was not any soap or shampoo (not a problem the store was close), the bathroom is on the first floor and if your wife is like mine who has to pee 6 million times during the night, I got tired of going up and down the stairs with her! The only other thing and it is in the description was no hot water, I thought my wife was joking when she told me this before booking the place. Nope! No hot water, the shower outside water is hotter! Other than these little items, the place is amazing, the host replied really fast when we needed anything, the location is amazing. We felt really safe! The price was great for this place. Just pack an extra pillow and soap!

It was our first time in Golfito and Katie was very helpful and prompt at responding. We were very glad we chose to stay in her place.

Our family had a great stay in Pavones. The location is walking distance to the point and it’s tucked away in the wilderness. Squirrel monkeys came to visit in the morning and the 3ft x 10ft wide mini ramp is a bonus.

The place is great. It has a very good location, everything is super clean. It is a very comfortable, spacious and complete house. Better than what you see in the photos. If they have pets it's a great place for them.

Cara's rental house is a perfect & peaceful place to enjoy nature. we loved being able to walk down to the river. I also enjoyed walking in the mornings up the hill to look for birds, monkies, etc. Cara and her co-host Susanne were always very responsive and suggested things to do while there. the house was very clean with everything needed to make some nice meals. It is also very secure. we highly recommend and would love to return in the future!!

House is in a great location. Just a short walk from the beach and easy access to the main peak. Very traditional tico style house.

A great place to relax and connect with nature. Any vehicle enters even though the street is cobbled. Despite the private of the place, it is a few minutes from downtown San Vito, where there are excellent restaurants, supermarkets and everything you may need. There is an abundance of activities to do in the area. The place was spotless and the pool ideal for refreshing and exercising in the water.

Great space for families and larger groups. Everyone was comfortable and felt at home. Carolina was very attentive, always responding quickly. She and her team were very kind! Pavones is a finder, especially for those who surf. We recommend and look forward to coming back soon!

Andrés was a wonderful host, friendly and on top of everything. He responded quickly to a couple of maintenance issues that were solved promptly. The location is at walking distance to a famous surf spot. We enjoyed our stay!

This is the place to stay in Pavones!! Especially if you’re coming to surf! Right at the top of the point. You can keep tabs on the surf from your deck and paddle out when the waves and crowd dictate. Couldn’t have asked for a more helpful staff. Grounds were pristine, accommodations were great, pool was refreshing. Easy walk across the river into town. Perfect trip, perfect waves!! Thanks again Mili and Kenneth!!

We had a fantastic time in Pavones. Casa Azul was in walking distance to the beach. The area is peaceful and beautiful. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Very clean too. Kelly was a great host, very responsive, friendly, offered lots of suggestions of things to do. We were primarily there to surf but enjoyed the hikes that she recommended as well as the boat trip which she arranged for us.

If this home is available, you should definitely book it! My family and I stayed at this home for one week and enjoyed everything about it. The home is very private, safe and located on a spacious, beautifully landscaped property. The pool is a wonderful addition, especially for children. We loved the awning over the pool for shade, and sun. The outside terrace area is great for BBQing and relaxing in the hammocks. We loved the quirkiness of the home. It's an older Costa Rican home, but it has everything you need with hot water, AC, and solar panels - so even when the power went out all over Pavones we still had lights and AC. We slept very well in these beds (the room upstairs is bright, but the downstairs room is black-out). The kitchen is fully equipped, easy for cooking meals. The location was top-notch, easy to drive down to Pavones or Pilon for surfing. Last but not least, Valentine is a wonderful host and goes above and beyond. We definitely want to come back! 5 stars!

Loved our stay! Being in the pool and seeing whales swim by in the ocean below and monkeys swinging from the trees - absolutely incredible! Our family of 8 (plus a baby) stayed here for a week and there was plenty of room for everyone. Very clean (we actually received some daily cleaning which we weren't expecting but was great). Highly recommend!

Our family LOVED staying here! Amazingly well equipped kitchen. Our kids (and us) adored Clarita’s beautiful lush garden, so spacious and private! A traditional house that felt like home. So lovely, and just 30mins from the Panama border for an easy crossing 😉

Really enjoyed the stay here. We did a week visiting family and the location and facilities were perfect for us. The A/C in the master bedroom was up to the task (gawd it's hot down there!). Geilyn was extremely nice and helpful. If you rent, get an exact set of coordinates for the location. I've rented all over Costa Rica and have found the custom in Costa Rica is "good luck finding us with we are nnn meters from xxx". The wave and google maps directions will take you to the school which is hundreds of meters north of the house. But Geilyn's husband saved the day and waved us down and pointed us in the right direction. I hope to rent this again for future visits to family. It was perfect for us.

Excellent accommodation, everything is very clean and organized, an excellent location for shopping, a very quiet place

Patricia has made a very comfortable a secluded place to stay near the board. The cabins contained most things needed for a comfortable stay but if you are planning on cooking there, you meals will need to be basic as space and utensils are limited. I believe Patricia will provide meals if upon request but I cannot comment on those. The only drawback we experienced was the noise of the road through the night as the trucks run until late so consider bringing ear plugs! Patricia was very polite and responsive and I would recommend the cabins to friends. Thank you!

Very close to the border, perfect for shopping and moving, all were always very friendly and facilitated dinner and breakfast, highly recommended!

Erick’s place is just like the pictures. Very clean and with all you need for a comfortable stay.
