Set in a 18th C. stone outbuilding, it is very quiet and independent . It has a kitchenette, not for home cooking but perfect to refrigerate & heat up food and make hot drinks. There are 2 great pubs within a short walking distance. This is the perfect nest for a visit to Bath, Longleat, Stonehenge & more.

Ideally located to enjoy Longleat, walk the Gorge at Cheddar or take a trip to the coast.

A gorgeous and spacious double room annexe, with en suite bathroom, private entrance through french windows and facilities for simple cooking (microwave/toaster). A portion of the front garden, with table and chair, is entirely for guests' use. The room sits at the end of a detached period cottage, once an old weaver's cottage in the 17th century, overlooking the Longleat estate and thus beautiful views. There is free off-road parking and only a few miles to Frome or Warminster.

Numerous attractions including cheddar gorge, Wookey hole and stourhead gardens The Jurassic coast is approx 1hr 20 min away by car If bringing cycles it is possible to store cycles in owners barn/shed

The Lodge at Cobweb Cottage

Listen closely and you may hear the lions at Longleat roar! Tucked down a quiet lane, on the edge of Longleat Safari Park, The Lodge at Cobweb Cottage is a delightful bolthole. Stepping through the front door, you will be met with a spacious yet cosy open plan living space with a modern shower-room. The bedroom with private balcony occupies the entirety of the first floor. From here there are delightful countryside views. Outside there is parking for two cars.

The Mainstay Pod sleeps 2 adults and 2 children comfortably. Hidden Wood Glamping has two other available cabins. We keep our site quiet and private. Close by are towns Frome and Warminster. Longleat is 5 minutes away. Chill out and relax in our amazing Scandinavian style wood fired hot tub and sauna. Guests privacy has been considered with well placed fencing and distance from the next cabin. Our most dog friendly cabin, with a large fully enclosed garden.

A log fire or our under floor heating for a cosy night in the winter wrapped up in our sheepskin rugs, or toasting marshmallows over the fire pit, a dinner out side in you own garden set in our lavender field with spectacular views.. or why not get hot and steamy in the jacuzzi hot tub!
