South Bend historic cottage in the National Historic District of Chapin Park. Close to Notre Dame. One dog is welcome. No cats. There is a queen sized bed and a sofa, NOT sofa bed in the sitting room. This cottage built in 1912. Private and cozy, the cottage has a big screen TV, wifi and a gourmet kitchen. The owner lives almost directly behind and is available and happy to assist. Chapin Park's tree-lined, brick streets and diverse historic architecture are charming. No smoking.

Enjoy a large kitchen, dining room and large family room along with three bedrooms (upstairs) and two full baths (1 up and 1 down). The rural atmosphere is perfect for walks or evening fires (we have a fire ring, lawn chairs, and some wood). Enjoy the night sky with a view of the stars and constellations. This charming home offers a family-friendly, comfortable place to stay while you enjoy your time in northern Indiana. We are just a few miles from Lake Michigan and the University of Notre Dame.

The living room has a 55" Roku TV and Roku TV's are in each bedroom. There are 2 Queen bedrooms on the main floor and 2 full beds in the large upstairs bedroom. The basement has a small living area and 1 full size bed. Each bedroom also has a fan and sound machine as well as blackout curtains to ensure a goodnights sleep. Privacy fenced back yard with plenty of patio furniture surrounding the pool and a gas grill. The pool is open from Memorial day to Labor day.
