Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Cumberland

Brian’s virtual hospitality was warm and welcoming. I didn’t figure out that the garage is for snowmobiles (assumption) until the last day. We felt at home at once. Our small dog wanted to chase every squirrel and the cows that lead the pig down the street. We were there with another couple for a virtual conference with several sessions over Saturday and Sunday. The bedrooms were comfortable, bathrooms clean, kitchen small but well equipped meeting all our needs, and TV room perfect for the conference. Walking the dog in the back up the hill was beautiful even in the rain. We talked about booking for the October conference already. Thanks, Brian.

The house was exactly as described and seen in the photos, a large, beautiful, authentic log cabin in the woods. The setting was quiet and beautiful though conviently right off the main road. We enjoyed cross country skiing, ice skating and a sleigh ride in Jackson (about 30 min away) and shopping in North Conway (about 20 min). Eileen made sure we were plowed and shoveled regularly during the snow storm so we enjoyed curling up by the fire and watching a movie on the large tv. My mother in particular enjoyed all the vintage decor which brought back childhood memories.

Great location and perfect set up for hosting multiple families. Very comfortable and clean. Would definitely stay again.

This home was perfect for my family during a difficult time of grief. All of my adult children and I had our own sleeping spaces. We enjoyed the beautiful kitchen, dining, and living areas, and especially the ping pong table. We would definitely recommend this home to large families.

We had a great time with the family at Laura’s place! Beautiful area, spacious house with everything needed. The fireplace was super nice in the cool nights and the game room was a nice entertainment. Private and surrounded by nature. Laura was very responsive and easy to communicate.

Or stay exceeded or expectations. We rented the place for my 60th birthday with seven other women! Everything was top notch, very clean, very comfortable very cozy. Everything we needed to cook was available the beds we are very comfortable. The bathrooms were clean organized. We could not have asked for anything more. This was one of the most organized, clean places easy accessible to town. Kennebunkport is stunning. I will definitely rent this place again. Thank you so much Tim for your kind hospitality and all your help and for the beautiful Maine goodies, you left us ! So thoughtful and sweet !

10/10 recommend! This was as close to perfect as it gets! The house was amazing. Once we arrived, it came as no surprise that this property is a guest favorite. The views of the river are spectacular. The interior was beautiful, pristine, yet still warm and comfortable. Our kids absolutely loved the space! Steven was an incredible host - proactive with information, instructions, and, most importantly, kind and welcoming. The area is filled with things to do and the scenery is unmatched. With that said, we had just as much peace and enjoyment sitting on the back deck, enjoying views of the river. I would re-book in a heartbeat! We definitely hope to return. This was by far one of our favorite vacations as a family. Thank you so much Steven for helping to shape such a wonderful experience for our little family!

Wow. What a great experience even with tons of snow. The hot tub was well worth it and the house and fire place were just right. Even my dogs got to enjoy spending time there. Thank you again!

Caitlin and her adorable space were amazing! My friend/assistant trainer and I stayed two nights for the weekend to go to a continuing education dog training conference in Ossipee, only 25 minutes away. The host does not typically allow dogs; however, they were ADA compliant and had no issue allowing my friend/assistant’s well-trained service dog. Other accommodations in the area did give us a hard time, so we chose this space for many reasons, including the host’s welcoming attitude.

Great place. The bed was really comfortable. Hot tub was nice and private and relaxing.

Very convenient to everything that Portland has to offer. Street parking was available within a block or so no matter the time we looked. If you are over six feet tall, the ceilings in the bedrooms might feel low.

Host was great and friendly. Beautiful neighborhood. Apt was very clean and comfortable. Many extras like Keurig, coffee, tea hot chocolate and water bottles. Cozy extra blankets, fans and fireplace. Bathroom was clean and had liquid soaps, shampoo etc. Not a full kitchen, but all you need. Would definitely stay again.
