Venezia, per ordine del Consiglio dei Dogi, mandò a Otranto una loro nobile famiglia che diventò il punto referente, a livello burocratico e amministrativo, per tutto il traffico delle navi che da Venezia andavano in Oriente e viceversa. Il Palazzo è stato recentemente oggetto di un restauro conservativo che lo ha riportato fedelmente al suo stato originario.

Lovely apartment in the heart of Salento

This house is located in a Salento typical court which is exclusively available to guests. It is very pleasant to have breakfast or dinner in the courtyard. The historical structure of the house is characterized by high vaulted ceiling. The bedroom has a double bed and a very spacious walk-in closet. In the living room there is a sofa bed, the house can therefore accommodate up to 4 people. A bathroom, a kitchen and everything needed for cooking. Nearby bars, restaurants, bakery.

An apartment in the heart of Puglia Salentina. The house of Giovanna and Giorgio (my parents) has two floors, the second has been used as an independent apartment with shared entrance. The apartment is air-conditioned and overlooks a delightful internal courtyard curated by Giovanna. Giovanna and Giorgio do not speak English but will do their best to make you feel at home. Upon check-in, you will be given a sheet in English with information that can help you.

The "Pajara" is a rural building made with the dry wall technique typical of Salento. In the past, they were used for the most diverse purposes, as well as a home for farmers in the summer during the tobacco harvest. Staying in the Pajara will give you a unique experience.
