For someone who places great importance on the energy of spaces, I can say that René's studio immediately gave me a feeling of "home" in my first phase of settling in Dakar. The space is well decorated and beautiful in its simplicity. The kitchen is shared with Rene and his family, but I didn't feel uncomfortable because they made me feel at ease right away. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a connection with a host and to be located in a lively little neighborhood.

We loved our stay at Mariane’s home. She was very flexible and responsive to our questions and travel changes. The house was quiet and well-maintained. Ndeye was a lovely housekeeper who was thoughtful, kind and kept the place in beautiful condition. Ouakam is also a nice area - a safe neighborhood where we felt right at home.

Frankly one of my best Airbnb Experiences to start the super welcoming staff, they are all great and about the host and her husband what to say except if everyone was like them on this site, no one would have bad experiences when booking, I was wrong and I forgot two days, I discussed it with Marie Louise who added me two FREE days! That really touched me. About the room, there is really any bathroom, small kitchen with its fridge, a queen bed in the bedroom for two convenient people we can put our suitcases under the bed, a screen and three fans well placed to sleep well. Honestly I would recommend 1000% and I would come back in cha A Llaah It was my first ecological experience and I invite you all tested 20/20

We (a couple) enjoyed a very comfortable stay of 5 nights at La Rose Des Sables. The apartment itself was perfect – beautifully decorated, very clean, comfortable furniture, very comfortable king bed, spacious stylish rooms, large TVs, strong A/C for cooling, strong internet, large bathroom with powerful shower, and all the kitchen appliances/utensils we needed. Everything in the apartment was in full working order. The location was also perfect - the apartment building is right in the centre of Dakar Plateau, but on a quiet street so we heard no street noise. The apartment was in easy walking distance of a good grocery store. The apartment felt very safe and secure. All communications with Alain and Elsa were clear and accurate, and they were very helpful in answering our questions. In summary, if you are looking for a comfortable top quality stay in Dakar, I would highly recommend this apartment.

This was one of the best airbnb experiences for me and my friends. The host was friendly and gave us lots of recommendations on things to do and how to get around. They were also responsive and accommodating when we needed them. The apartment was spacious, clean, and within walking distance to many good restaurants. Would definitely recommend.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an absolutely pleasant stay at Marietou's! The apartment was impeccably clean, spacious, bathed in light and tastefully decorated. The bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was fully equipped, perfect for preparing meals. Everything was designed to make the experience enjoyable.
