A comfortable bed, kitchen to prepare your own meal(No food serving), great surrounding, hot tub and raw nature. You are spot on driving north, south or visiting west. Snæfelsnes peninsula road is close by. Natural hot springs, Viking home of Erik the Red and his son Leif the Lucky who discovered America and the Leif Eiriksson Center all in the area. Háafell Lodge

Welcome to Háafell Farm where we raise sheep, keep horses and have one friendly dog. Our private guest house is located 200 meters above the farm, up the mountain at 130 meters above sea level. It is a recently built (2020), 100 square meter, modern “turf house style” house. Háafell means “The High Mountain” and has a long river that cascades down its side with several tiers of waterfalls. It is a five minute walk to our canyon and it is possible to take a cold bath in one of the waterfalls.

Wonderful cottage located on a farm in west Iceland. Icelandic horses on the farm and sheep in the autumn. The place is surrounded by the Viking Saga, history of elves and hidden people. The working farm Nedri-Hundadalur is located 120 km west of Reykjavik. We are in the center of Snæfellsnes, Borgarfjörður and West fjords. We offer a camper suite, with kitchen and wc. Outside the camper is a hot tub, you can use, just let us know if you want. The sleeping space is for 4 slit to two grown ups and two children. The environment is beautiful and peaceful.
