Peaceful, charming and cosy, the cottage is a graceful mix of period charm and modern facilities surrounded by 44 acres of vineyards and natural forest. Our three cottages, including Casita de Bosque and Casita Blanca are eco friendly with solar power and rain water harvesting. We were blessed with some rainy years (2024-2025) but please always be aware of water usage.

Melness Cottage

Melness cottage is a comfortable studio style accommodation on a 2500 acre farm 33km out of Goondiwindi. The cottage is separate to the main house and you will have private entry. It is only 300m from the highway to our entrance. There is a fire pit area to enjoy during your stay and the creek is a short walk from the cottage. For meals there is a microwave, Weber BBQ, bar fridge, kettle and toaster. A few basic breakfast supplies can be provided.

Upper Cottage in a Winery Estate

The Upper Cottage at Hidden Creek Winery is located at the top of the property and overlooks the Upper Vineyard. It has two very comfortable bedrooms, kitchenette, indoor dining and wood burning heating stove. It is isolated and its attraction is serenity and solitude. The elevated location with a large front verandah has magnificent views. The verandah has tables, chairs, barbeque and adjacent fire pit and is marvelous for cooking and wine tasting.
