The Volcanic Eifel, known for its maars, has many beautiful hiking and cycling trails. The Eifelsteig is nearby. The Kosmosradweg [bike path] provides easy access to the Maare-Mosel bike path. The Nürburgring and all sights can be reached by car. Daun-Senheld Airport offers sightseeing flights over the maars, the Mosel or the Nürburgring.

Apartment "Hekla" in the Eifel

Our former farm with a dream view is an idyllic Eifel village on the edge. The two detached wooden holiday houses can accommodate a total of 18 people. Our renovated apartment "Hekla" can accommodate 2-3 people. Apartment Hekla is part of the farm main house. The Heidberghof is right on the edge of the forest. There is no transit traffic. On the farm live next to us, a Dutch family, also Icelandic horses, dogs, cats and chickens.

Shops, restaurants, etc. can be reached by car within 10-20 minutes in Daun, Gerolstein, Hillesheim or Kelberg. The Nürburgring is about 12 km away. The Volcanic Eifel offers many different ways to discover the area.
