Vacation rentals with a fireplace in De Ronde Venen

Are you looking for a staycation or traveling to Amsterdam with family or friends and looking for a mix of nature and City life then your search ends here. Aside from Mart being a great host and opening his home for us, it's greatly located 20 min from the airport and 20 min to downtown (by car), The Harbor is down the road where you can rent a boat and spend a lovely day in the lake of Vinkeveen where you can hop between islands and have lunch/dinner, you can ride bikes or go for a run or you can stay home and have a lovely bbq. The house is very spacious with incredible design and views. I can't wait to go back.

Elisabeth is een heel toegankelijke host, communiceert snel en prettig. Het huis is een fantastische plek, goede bedden, veel ruimte en rust. Echt een aanrader!

Gerdie's house is nicely made and decorated, spotless clean and very comfortable. The neighborhood is really quiet and the location is great, close to Amsterdam and not far from Keukenhof. Gerdie is a very welcoming and nice host, we felt like at home in her lovely house and we'll keep only good memories from our short stay there.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in der Unterkunft. Als Ausgangspunkt war sie super gelegen und zur Metro und zum Einkaufen waren nur kurze Wege. Und von der Hektik in der Stadt, tat die Ruhe im Quartier sehr gut. Können dies nur weiter empfehlen. Die beiden sind sehr unkompliziert.

Our week end at Mickey’s was very nice. The house is very spacious and peaceful. We loved the big windows and the garden. We also enjoyed some trips to Amsterdam even if it is better to go by car rather than with public transport which are longer. The rooms and bathrooms were perfect (we were a group of 8 friends including 2 couples). Mickey was even available on during the week in case we needed some help or just to answer to our questions. There is a supermarket really close to the house (5 min by walk) which is also really helpful!

I had an absolutely incredible stay! The hosts were amazing—thoughtful, kind, and always making sure everything was perfect. The home was spotless, comfortable, and so welcoming. The kitchen was a dream to use, fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Every little detail showed how much care and attention they put into making guests feel at home. Wat een ervaring wonen op het water! Overal water veel watervogels en de meest prachtige wolken! Het huis is lekker groot dus de kleinkinderen konden ook komen logeren 👍 Alles is aanwezig in de keuken veel pannen, borden en bestek. Breukelen is een gezellig plaatsje en de omgeving is ook erg mooi.

The first thing I have to say is Sophie and Pieter are clearly lovely people. We were late because of traffic but Sophie waited for us and gave a warm and very helpful welcome. Secondly, the apartment is a real home from home. The kitchen has all the equipment you need if you want to dine at home. Throughout the apartment everything was clean and functional as well as being well designed and attractive. Thirdly, the location is excellent. The tram runs regularly on the Overtoom and gets you right into the centre in 20 easy minutes. On the other side is the Vondelpark, which is a slice of real Amsterdam that many people would miss, which is a shame as it’s fantastic. The bar run by the brewery was a real find for us. Around you are a number of excellent places to eat and drink on both sides of the park and into the centre. Finally I am going to return to Sophie and Pieter - honestly you could not get better hosts. Thank you very much - we intend to return.

The location was great, walking distance to trains and trams to get to the heart of Amsterdam. Far enough away to be quiet for nights in. Nancy was very communicative even though she was on holiday. Easy parking if you drive in and plenty of space for 5, especially if someone doesn’t mind the couch. Would be great for 3 couples. Amazing showers 😁

The De Pjip neighborhood is so cool and this rental is near many of the best spots: the Albert Cuyp market, Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh museum, so many restaurants and bars. The apartment itself is modern and comfortable. Having a washer AND A DRYER! was fantastic! We loved having Alexa play whatever we requested while we relaxed after busy days of being a tourist. We would love to come back to this rental!

Awesome location, comfortable bed. Hosts enjoy taking care of their place and guests. The check-in was in person and no self check-in option available but hosts were very accommodating and easy to get in touch with.

Alexander was very responsive before and throughout our stay in the studio apartment. Great location. He was very accommodating with his check-in and check-out. He and his wife gave a special little gift of cookies for my daughter who was celebrating a birthday trip. I highly recommend this place and Alexander as a host.

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt in Jan Peters Unterkunft in Maarssen! Die Lage ist ideal für Ausflüge – nur 12 Minuten mit dem Auto vom Bahnhof Breukelen entfernt, von wo aus wir bequem mit dem Zug nach Amsterdam, Rotterdam und anderen Städten fahren konnten. Das Auto konnten wir problemlos gratis in der Nähe parken, was sehr praktisch war. Maarssen selbst ist ein wunderschönes Dorf mit hervorragenden Restaurants und einer charmanten Atmosphäre. Die Unterkunft war sehr geräumig und perfekt für Familien. Unsere Kinder hatten viel Spaß, da es zahlreiche Spielsachen und Aktivitäten für sie gab. Jan Peter war ein großartiger Gastgeber, immer freundlich. Alles war sauber und genau wie beschrieben. Wir können die Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen, besonders für Familien, die die Region erkunden möchten!

What a great stay! I had a last minute opportunity to head to Amsterdam to join my parents on vacation…their hotel was sold out, so I was on my own. I found this gem about a mile from City Center, super accessible by foot or tram to everything! Thank goodness Jorrit was there to greet me and help with my heavy suitcase…the stairs (2 flights) were SUPER narrow on the treads (seems to be the case everywhere in the city) and about as wide as my suitcase. But once upstairs, the place was exactly as described…plus a lovely welcome basket with Dutch treats! I was prepared for no AC, but there was a recent heatwave so it was hottt. But it cooled down and was beeezy with the windows open and fans on. Very safe neighborhood, and even a pub within 100 steps (but not noisy or rowdy). The kitchen was well stocked, so I saved on things like salt and pepper and EVOO and basics. Jorrit gave lots of GREAT recs on where to go & what to do. A super stay and I’d definitely rent here again! Thanks!

We had the unit at end of the street, which made it private and peaceful. The unit was comfortable, good beds and in a very central location

Don't have a bad word to say about the place. From the moment I booked the host was very responsive, gave us helpful suggestions for local amenities and online shopping. Was there to greet us and welcome us to her lovely home. The house is beautiful and is set in beautiful surroundings close enough to Amsterdam to enjoy the city but also enjoy the peace outside of it. Murielle was responsive enough to be available whenever we needed without being overbearing. If I was travelling back to Amsterdam with a large group I wouldn't hesitate to book again. Frank is an outstanding host. He provided fantastic and detailed information upfront. The check-in was smooth, and we were provided with local snacks, and Frank set us up with breakfast for our first morning in Amsterdam. This made it very comfortable after a long trip. Whenever we had a question, Frank replied within minutes. We all had a great and relaxing stay. Our kids often asked us if we could stay inside the house rather than going on day trips. That's how much they enjoyed the place and the cute little garden where they could play with water (you have to watch out for tiny kids that can't swim though). In short, it was fun, and we had a good time.

Dette huset er helt fantastisk! Unik innredning og utforming, og det ligger veldig rolig til. Fredelig nabolag med fine grøntområder, i gangavstand til Haarlem sentrum. Huset er større enn det ser ut på bildene, og passet perfekt til 5 personer der alle kan få litt privatliv. Kan varmt anbefales!

The villa was amazing, the views on the lake were perfect for a small getaway. Pien was also very responsive and helpful we loved our stay at the villa. Definitely coming back again when the weather is warmer
