“Joe's place is in a beautiful location and the place was very clean. The kitchen is small but adequate unless you're planning on spending all your time cooking. There was a full size refrigerator and stove along with all the necessary dishes, pots, pans coffee maker and microwave. He even provided snacks and ground coffee. If you're anything like me, you have much better things to do while in Maine than cook fancy dinners. The WiFi is stable and fast so there are no concerns there. The TV only had Netflix, standard YouTube and the color tended toward purple but if you have a laptop and an HDMI cable you can stream to the TV anything you subscribe to. The only reason I cared about getting broadcast TV was we were there during the World Series. Joe generously invited us to join him to watch the games. He's a terrific host and the apartment is very comfortable. One of the bedrooms is filled with interesting knick knacks and books. The location was spectacular and my dogs enjoyed staying there as much as we did. I will definitely try to stay here again when we come back to Maine after mud season.”

“Stephanie, thank you SO much for everything. We feel so fortunate to have stayed at the Sugah Shack. Not only is the location amazing (just steps away from Jenkin's Beach), but you made the place so special with all the little notes and toys/games and gift basket, plenty of blankets for extra warmth tucked away in dresser drawers, a fire pit, an electric grill on the back deck, a heat pump to keep us warm or cool. We absolutely loved it. We played games inside, went to the beach every day, sat on the swing out front, looked at the stars at night. It was so perfect. We hope to be able to come back sometime, maybe next summer?”

“We had an amazing stay at Lisa’s place. She has truly thought of everything. It shows how much she truly cares about being a great host by all the thoughtful touches around the apartment. She had really useful instructions, great tips about local places, an incredible tempurpedic mattress topper, sound machines, and an assortment of pillows to match any preference. She had bath bombs and a variety of condiments, coffees, hot chocolate and everything you could imagine to make it feel like a home away from home. We were there almost 3 weeks and it was perfect. Lisa was very communicative but always respected our privacy. In fact I never saw her, but I knew she would be there quickly if I needed her. The place was super clean. I laughed when I dropped something under the bed and saw a little sign that said something like “yes, we even clean down here!!” 😀 I highly recommend Lisa’s place. You won’t regret staying there. In fact, I hope I have an opportunity to stay there again.”
