You are welcomed by a former stable, now a hall-like hall with a special atmosphere: Here you will find the small, stylish apartment, nestled in a beautiful natural ensemble. This house became famous in 1976 when the famous actress Elisabeth Flickenschildt wanted to realize her dream as a farmer in the countryside here, but died in 1977.

From here you can drive to Hamburg and Heidepark in 30 minutes, or you can visit the Büsenbachtal, hike the Heidschnuckenweg, and discover the Nordheide hotspots and hiking trails around the corner. The cozy country house apartment is freshly renovated. With attention to detail, a cozy retreat for travelers in the Altes Land was created. New real wood parquet and Italian floor tiles meet the historic beams of the farmhouse here. The farm has direct access to a beautiful country road along the orchards. Especially in the flowering season, it is ideal for extensive cycling tours along the fruit trees. The nearby Elbe also creates a maritime flair.

Our small modern apartment is for guests who want to take a break to explore the Geest, Hamburg, Cuxhaven and everything else near the Elbe. The apartment is a perfect starting point for trips to the Hanseatic city of Stade, Buxtehude or to ride the Elbe Cycle Route. The center of Fredenbeck is about 15 minutes on foot or less than 5 minutes by car. Stade can be reached in 15 minutes by car and Cuxhaven and Hamburg are an hour's drive away.

Between the orchards

Welcome to Altes Land, Germany's largest fruit growing area with its numerous orchards. Here you can relax wonderfully, especially cycling through apple orchards or to the nearby Elbe. For shopping, we recommend the Hanseatic city of Hamburg (about 45 minutes by car) or the cozy cities of Stade (20 minutes) and Buxtehude (12 minutes). Das Reihenendhaus liegt im Dorfkern und trotzdem ruhig. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Unterkunft liegt mittig zwischen Bremen, Hamburg und Cuxhaven. Ein Golfplatz liegt in 1 km Entfernung Bettwäsche und Handtücher können vor Ort gegen Gebühr geliehen werden. Aufgrund schlechter Erfahrungen keine Haustiere erlaubt. Das Haus wurde 2025 renoviert! Our apartment is located in the beautiful Alten Land, near the Lühe pier (about 15min walk over the dike). Stade, Finkenwerder, Buxtehude and Hamburg (45min.) are easily accessible by car. But also as a day trip by bike to explore well. You will love my accommodation because of the scenic location, the proximity to the water and the city of Hamburg.
