Waterfront vacation rentals in Delaware

I was looking for some quiet after a stressful few months and something of a view. I love the water so I picked this place and it want a far drive from me. I felt at home and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you could think of which was great because I really wanted to bake for myself and just do a great self care weekend which I did. Me and my pup got to have some alone time and hang by the water across the street at the gated off little beach. Hung out in the hammock and sat on the boat launch. Exactly what I needed. Definitely coming back !

Alice is a great host, and her place was absolutely what we were looking for. Beautiful views of the lake, that presented us with an exquisite sunset. The place was cozy, clean, very peaceful, and it met all of our expectations. We look forward to returning during a different time of the year.

Great lake view and very peaceful surroundings. The place was as described and overall a nice stay. Slightly awkward that the bathroom didn’t have a ceiling, but not a big deal. Also saw an otter swimming in the lake!

Host was very responsive and proactive. We experienced a brief loss of power and they reached out immediately to check in and make sure our stay was not aversely affected. Nice tranquil setting on a dead end road with very little vehicle traffic.

Our stay here was amazing. It’s so beautiful and peaceful. I will absolutely recommend it to my friends and I would love to stay here again in the future.

We had a wonderful three-month stay here at the lake. The setting was beautiful and Elmir was a fantastic host. I especially liked watching the people enjoying the lake when it was frozen over, and the Buffleheads and other diving ducks after the ice was gone.

Johns place was perfect for a little getaway. Our dog loved it as much as we did. We walked around the lake with stunning views (especially around fall season) and the fireplace is great for doing s’mores at night. Dasha was absolutely amazing, friendly and always reachable if anything.

This was our second time staying at Julius’ beautiful home on the Delaware River. We absolutely love the location, the river access, and waking up to the view from the back deck every morning. The house is spacious and fit our family of five plus another relative with room to spare. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our gracious host!

We had a few families go in together on the house. We went tubing at Shawnee and had group dinner at the house. We enjoyed the hot tub and stared at the frozen, snow covered lake. It was a great weekend and a good place to hunker down for the weekend.

10/10, best rental! The house felt like a hotel - it was immaculately clean with beautiful decor and in an ideal location. They put a lot of thought into it, there were so many little things we weren't expecting from an Airbnb that made this one top notch. We appreciated the fluffy clean towels and toiletries they provided. They had a whole section of baby items stored neatly in the garage and we used the baby monitor to keep an eye on the kiddos during the night. We really enjoyed the kayaks with life jackets in adult and kid sizes. They even thought to provide things like waterproof cell phone cases to take on the kayaks! They also had a small cooler, tons of beach chairs and lawn games. The location of the house is great, there's a little beach around the corner and 1 min drive into a part of town with some nice restaurants. We took a recommendation from the house's Insta-page and went on an easy hike on the boardwalk section of the Appalachian trail! It was a great time!

This home was very clean and impressively fresh, stylish, yet cozy inside. There was plenty of activities in the house for my family and I to do at the house when we weren't out and about. Not far from Bushkill falls either which was a great place to explore. The waterfall view was amazing and it could be seen inside from the many windows in the living room as well as from the great fire pit out back that that gives a feeling of being on top of a valley. That said, just keep in mind there is a steep drop off of the back side of the side of the house which looks incredible but maybe require extra supervision of kids and pets (likewise with spiral staircases inside). The amenities inside were great, the stocked mini fridge provided some new drinks for us to try, the back patio was a delight to eat on with the sound and view of the waterfall, and the VR, pool table, and games provided lots of entertainment! Quite a beautiful home inside, it was certainly refreshing!

House was amazing. Plenty of space for activities and had more than enough room for all of us to sleep.

We had an amazing time with the family at Teresa’s beautiful location. The kids had an amazing time in the home and we were all able to enjoy a wonderful weekend. Teresa was absolutely accomadating and helpful with anything asked. She was quick to answer and helped with any questions we had. I would absolutely recommend this house to anyone with a big family. We had a wonderful winter weekend stay here with our toddler. The hosts left out toys that were perfect for our kiddo and kept her entertained all weekend. The space is comfortable and kitchen well-equipped. We would definitely come back again, winter or summer!

Jose was a great host—very responsive and proactive. It snowed the day we arrived, and Jose made sure the snow was cleared so we could fully enjoy the place. I will definitely be looking forward to coming back.

Gerry & Arlene were great hosts! They helped us find a location that fit our needs (walkable to the ski slopes). (We thought we originally booked a place right at Mountain Creek, but it ended up being across the street - so definitely a bit of a walk, but still not too bad.) We were celebrating our son's 13th birthday and the condo was perfect. The location allowed us to snowboard all day, come back to have pizza and birthday cake, then go right back on the slopes until closing. (We also left two pairs of our snowboard boots there...and they were extremely helpful in getting these back to us!)

Beautiful apartment. Has many kitchen necessities and cooking spices, didn’t have to go out for anything other than the food we were cooking. Has nice communal shared space with the other buildings, including a nice and large communal hot tub and pool. Would definitely come back again!

Asko has a very cozy two bedroom unit that is walking distance to Mountain Creek. All of the amenities and description was accurate. It is a beautiful place. Asko was very attentive and responsive to any of our questions.

We loved our stay. The condo was cozy, quiet and beautiful! Exactly as shown and pristine, we especially enjoyed the serenity of the lake. Michael greeted us and showed us around, very friendly. You will not be disappointed in this stay, it is the perfect getaway.
