Welcome to "Cabin on Swede Hill". Our family has farmed this land since 1871. My great grandparents, Swan and Johanna Johnson immigrated to America in the 1860's, found this land which was similar to Sweden. They raised their family here. Approximately 65 Swedish families settled in this community, became to be know as the "Swede Hills". We just received the Hoosier Homestead Award from Indiana celebrating the Sesquicentennial Award. We invite you to come...... and experience country life.

Your Country Home - Private, quiet wooded setting

Modern house in the country with a reputation for sparkling cleanliness and 2 day minimums between guest stays. Close to Culver Academies (18 min/10 mi), Lake Maxinkuckee (13 min/7.4 mi), Lake Manitou (27 min/16 mi), and the historic Tippecanoe River (5 min/3.5 mi to Germany Bridge or 5 min/1.6 mi to Aubbeenaubbee Landing in Leiters Ford). We keep our prices low for 2 people, so please note that while we have space for up to 6 guests, each additional guest will incur small additional charges.

Beach House on Bass Lake, IN (Unit A)

Enjoy your getaway to Bass Lake. This 3 bed 2 bath house has been completely renovated in 2022 and is ready for your family! Sleeps up to 10 people. Located right by the public beach, this is a perfect place for a family vacation! Plenty of things to do during the day in the area biking, swimming, boating, kayaking or ice fishing. In the evening enjoy the beautiful sunsets by the fire pit (wood not provided). There is another rental on-site -- other renters may be upstairs.

Oak Grove Place (2 King Beds) on 5 acres

Fully furnished, large country house. With beautiful country views. Large wrap around front Porch and back deck. Perfect for picnics or just relaxing. Ideal location for any size of family or group. Two king beds, one queen, one full size bed plus a queen sleeper couch to meet a large family needs. During winter months you can enjoy the warmth of the fireplace. Wood is provided. The Oak Tree Lodge is located in a country setting and offers a private lodge with an outdoor area for relaxing and entertaining. The former barn structure has been beautifully transformed in a rustic and comfortable lodge to rest, relax, and renew. We have renewed it into a fresh new life - as a lodge to invite friends and guests to enjoy and relax. The listed rate is for four people, and additional quests will be $25.00 per person.

Enjoy the view of the Tippecanoe River when you stay at Artu! The backyard has access directly to the river, where you can sit around the firepit and watch the water go by as you relax with your family and friends. This house is located just down the road from the town park and walking distance to the riverside rentals. Please be aware you are not in a big city, some resources will be limited.
