Achal Heights - Luxury Villa in Quaint Village

KirandeepRating, 5 stars38 months ago
Achal Heights was an ideal getaway for our group. We needed this break from the hustle and bustle of our lives and we got exactly what we were looking for. The home itself is so beautiful and thoughtfully planned. We felt completely at home with the house-help who was so willing to support our wishes. The outdoor view, of course, is to die for- with a large expanse of mountains and the gardens surrounding the home. Just breathtaking! We enjoyed the sunshine and our meals and our walks. We'll surely visit again and probably stay longer to enjoy the quiet and comfort.

Cedar Heaven Cottage

AkshitRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Loved the place and it felt right at home. Kitchen is well equipped and clean. The cottage is well planned. The cottage matched the description and it was very peaceful with great views. Shubhani was always responsive and the caretaker- Bharti didi as well. Since the local market is slightly far i would recommend to carry your supplies. There is a small grocery small available but better to stock up

Tranquil Peaks Hartola, Mukteshwar

MaheshRating, 5 stars6 months ago
We had a lovely time at Tranquil Peaks! We were sceptical about booking this homestay as it's a new one but I am so glad we did. The hosts have restored a very old home in a tasteful way. The accommodation is comfortable and has all the required comforts. The views of the Himalayas are just too good from every room. Special thanks to Pawan and Bhoopal ji who were attentive to all our needs and made our stay very comfortable. The food was lip smacking, especially the Kumaoni dishes such as the pahadi raita and bhat ki daal. Will surely return.

Sequoia Cottage

SubhasreeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Our stay at Sequoia Cottage in Hartola, Uttarakhand, was a delightful escape from city life. The drive from Noida took about 8 to 8.5 hours with necessary stops, and the scenic route was well worth it. Nestled in a tranquil forest, the property is surrounded by lush trees and vibrant flowers, providing a perfect retreat. The nearby village is charming and quiet, enhancing the peaceful atmosphere. The spacious, fenced outdoor area was ideal for our French mastiff to roam freely, making it a true pet-friendly haven. The cozy 2BHK cottage offers the option to cook, but we chose to have meals prepared by the available cook, which added to our relaxing experience. With small trekking opportunities right from the property, we enjoyed exploring the stunning surroundings. Overall, our stay at Sequoia Cottage was rejuvenating and filled with natural beauty. If you're seeking a peaceful getaway with your furry friend, this is definitely the place to be!

Corbett Malbagadh - an experience with nature.

Abhishek Rating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had an amazing stay at this beautiful jungle retreat. The last 1 km to the property is a steep ascent which we covered by a 4x4, which added to the adventure. The bungalow is tastefully done, super comfortable, and has all the modern amenities you’d need. It’s spread across three floors, and waking up to the sound of birds every morning was such a heartwarming experience. There’s a lovely machan on the property that offers stunning panoramic views of the jungle. It's great spot to just relax, enjoy the breeze, and take it all in. The caretakers were friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. Don’t miss the hike to the river! It’s a steep walk down, so if hiking isn't your thing, you can hire a gypsy ride for an additional fee (totally worth it). Overall, a peaceful, refreshing, and memorable getaway. Highly recommended!

Peaceful Cottage near Ranikhet

RaginiRating, 5 stars31 months ago
We had an amazing time at Bobby's place in Majkhali. The house is lovely, with every comfort inside, and walks and views all around. The taxi was able to take us right to the front door, which we later realised is a rare luxury. The best part of the house is the large seating/sleeping arrangement with windows on three sides which is superb in the afternoon sun and gives gorgeous wide views the whole day. The house also has an open terrace as well as a nice big garden - we wished we had our dogs with us! There's pine forest all around, it's a short walk down to the village nearby. It's a slightly longer walk to the larger Majkhali market, which is where daily need groceries are available, so it is advisable to carry some of your own groceries/needs with you [from one of the larger towns on the way up, like Bhawali or Ranikhet]. The area does suffer from water problems, and we were asked to be careful and respectful of water usage. The only day we had an issue, with Bobby's help we were able to use the water from the rainwater harvesting tank. Bobby was extremely helpful throughout in fact- from the time of our booking onwards, and it immediately felt like we've made a new friend. He also put us in touch with plenty of local support, from taxi drivers to shopkeepers, which made our whole experience very smooth. We'll definitely be going back as soon as possible!
