11 Mar '25: TLDR: Recommended. Will definitely book again. 🟢 Looked like the photos 🟢 The host, Dipankar is very co-operative and helpful 🟢 Tuktuk easily available until 8:30 PM 🟢 Market in walking distance (both Domino's & Pizza Hut available)

Barun is "Jack of all Trades". He is a registered Guide for the National Park, Boat owner, occasional Chef, engineer, Tent Mogul, hardworking, workaholic, but most importantly a good guy. The camp site was amidst a tea garden by the mighty river Dibru (Opposite Dibru Saikhowa National Park). For ablutions the facilities of Barun's Tea garden staff quaters (20mtr away) was easily accessible. In the exactly 20 hrs that I spent at Barun's - We walked 3-4 hours in National Park and saw birds - Blue breasted Kingfisher, Hornbill & Mandarin Duck Banyan Mangrove with Orchids and creepers Snake - crate Organic farming on the river island - that's where our veggies came from At night I could hear the fishes jumping out of water (count the number of times it happens to fall asleep quick) Food was home cooked by Barun's parents. It was one of the highlights of the stay. Must must try local chutney. (5/5 *****)

If you want to stay in Home stay accommodation then Mendolin is the best in Dibrugarh. Great host. Neat and clean rooms, good housekeeping service.

Super safe, quiet, beautiful, clean and spacious home. I was able to have a restful time here before travelling up to the eastern Himalayas.

It was really amazing stay....... I was traveling with my mother and when she saw so clean and beautiful room she also praised the efforts by host...... The room was really worth it 👌 ... Main room, washroom and kitchen all was clean and good... Window view is beautiful..... The caretaker is also so humble in nature...... he helped us ...... I will recommend this for all.... I am really happy to meet you.....
