The basement apartment with a separate entrance is part of a spacious single-family home on 2,000 square metres of park-like grounds. The modern accommodation consists of a hall with a food block, a bedroom, a shower with a sauna, a separate toilet, and a small terrace. Winkelhaid is located 3 km east of Nuremberg's city limits and 6 km west of the historic Altdorf bei Nürnberg. Messequartier: The Nürnberg Messe is a relaxed 20-minute drive away and can also be reached by public transport.

Our charming townhouse from the 19th century is in the heart of the Middle Franconian small town of Lauf a.d. Pegnitz right next to the historic Wenzelschloss. It combines old sandstone walls with an urban lifestyle. In the immediate walking distance is the city center with good shopping, top restaurants and cafes. In about 25 minutes you can reach the city center of Nuremberg, the airport or the Nuremberg fairgrounds. The hiking paradise of Franconian Switzerland is also not too far away.

Hiking, biking, climbing and culture in Franconia

Apartment, on the first floor, two open sleeping areas (no closed rooms) climbing roof, balconies in all directions. A steep staircase leads to the sleeping roof! However, the double sofa bed is in the lower living area. Garden area with fireplace, outdoor sauna. Fully equipped kitchen, with gas stove. Spices are available, but you have to bring your own coffee. In summer, the service water is heated via the solar system. It may take some time for the heating to start when it is cloudy.

Cozy apartment (1 room) on the second floor of our outbuilding for a getaway in the countryside. Very conveniently located. Nuremberg can be reached in 25 minutes by car.
