We had a great weekend here at Balai by Dogtown! It was our first time in Baler, Aurora and Mario's lodge made us feel at home. Clean room, clean comfort room, friendly staff and the place is soooooooo great! Walking distance to the beach, great food around the area, and friendly surfing teachers! It indeed exceeded our expectations. Thank you, Balai by Dogtown for allowing us in your humble home! We will surely come back. 🌊🫶

We had a wonderful family time in Eugene's Place. The beach is just a stone's throw away and you can have amazing views of the ocean especially during the golden hours. My son loved the pool and water was replaced every 2 days I think. We love the bermuda grass as we could walk barefoot or just lay around. My son also enjoyed the beach may it be low or high tide. There are a lot of hermit crabs crawling which my son enjoyed learning. If there is something I wish the place can be improved, the water pressure is low in the kitchen sink thus washing dishes is a bit of a challenge. And the bathroom sink needs repair. But overall, we had a great stay and would still like to come back. The place is worth the travel time & money!

I had the most incredible stay at this Airbnb! When I mentioned I was celebrating a special occasion, they surprised me with a thoughtful room upgrade – such a sweet gesture. The atmosphere was so peaceful and calming, truly the perfect place to unwind. The food was next-level, especially the vegan options – absolutely one of a kind! I felt so rejuvenated and refreshed during my time there. The staff went above and beyond, with the receptionist and the owners being exceptionally kind and welcoming. Our entire stay was nothing short of amazing, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Btw, I first discovered this gem from Joan Villablanca’s IG story, and I’m so glad I booked – no regrets whatsoever! Highly recommend this spot! 🧘‍♀️💞

The place felt right at home. It is a gated property with plenty of parking space. Self check in was smooth with keyless entry. The workspace is potentially useful for those with WFH setup. The smart TV was huge with Netflix. The beds were comfy. We were 4 but the place can accommodate up to 6 people. There is a mini fridge to store food and a complete kitchen (although there is no microwave). The bathroom was a bit small but complete with toiletries and heater. The host and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Loved the interior design and how there were plenty of plants outside. The host (Frans) seemed to be a plantito and bonded well with my father. It’s near the beach but not beach front. Perhaps 5min car ride and 10-15min walk to Sabang. It was a bit rainy when we went to Baler so it’s great that the place we stayed was really nice. Thank you for having us!
