Whether for water lovers or kitesurfers (30 minutes to the North Sea and 60 minutes to the Baltic Sea), for golfers (10 minutes to Gut Apeldör), cyclists (many excursion destinations such as Friedrichstadt or Kanal33 can be reached in about an hour), Tellingstedt is a good starting point. Day trips to Lübeck (old town), Kiel, Bad Segeberg (Karl May Festival), Hamburg or the Halligen or Heligoland are easily doable.

The accommodation is a small wooden cabin that is a bit secluded in the farmhouse Voerstkoppel. It is reachable by car, and the highway can be heard. The toilet is a little further away but accessible. The cabin has no heating. A fan heater can be provided for small extra charge.
