Guesthouse vacation rentals in Dominica

We had a great stay at Diamond View last week. The hosts, Clyde and Mika, were very helpful when we had questions. It is a quiet, peaceful location. The cottage is about a 20 minute drive up from Roseau on a road in bad shape, but it is currently being repaved. We had a lovely time exploring the area with our rental car.

This is a simple, no frills accommodation. The hosts are very friendly. The food is excellent! The view from the balcony is nice as well. It’s hard to locate because Google maps sends you in an older direction that gets cut off so speak with the host prior to arriving. The location is nice to go anything in Wotten Waven, Laudat, etc. as well as just a few minutes to Roseau.

It was a good time for us. 2 weeks in this location may appeared for some as a long time, but for us working remotely it was nice. The surrounding is nice in terms of nature and there is a few stops for a beer or some basic snacks. However, if you want to cook a lot, this is a basic kitchen. The garden is quite large and you feel very much in the nature. A nice cat is coming from time to time, you can see a lot of aguti walking around and many lizard !

Joan, Al and their daughters made the start of our vacation Magical. The property is Beautiful! Joan's food is world class. Her attention to detail and nightly descriptions of the meal were delightful. The entire family celebrated my Birthday in numerous ways the entire day !!!💜 It is hands down our #1 choice on the island. You always feel welcomed and taken care of as a guest. Very pleasant stay, very welcoming hostess. I recommend this place for those who want to do the activities around very many, but a little far if you want to visit the north of the island from the accommodation. In short, a very good place and people to your attention.

Such an amazing stay!! Joan, Al and their family and staff are super generous and warm and welcome you as if you are their own family. Located in a lovely quiet village with lots of green around you its the perfect location to stay, also close to many waterfalls and other tourist attractions. Joan cooks a meal every night with local fresh produce and Al can provide you with breakfast and sandwiches to go for hikes daily. They also helped us think of solutions when we had some trouble withdrawing money from ATMs and when we had to leave at 7AM for the boiling lake hike (Al made us fresh sandwiches to go that early in the morning!) Would definitely recommend!

Marva was a great help on our long hike ride. She has done us great services so we can continue our journey in excellent conditions. Thank you!!! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾😍 We recommend it in a second.

Lovely spot with a beautiful garden. The warm spring at your disposal lends the place an almost Japanese flair. Roseline and Riley were super friendly and always helpful. I’d happily stay there again.
