Marielund is a danish farmhouse (est. 1907) in a beautiful and isolated spot right by the baltic sea. It has been completely refurbished, and includes modern amenities, a fireplace and good quality Scandinavian country style furnishing (completed in May 2020). Stunning location, 40 meters from a private beach with direct access through the large south facing garden. Enjoy the sounds of the sea, birdsong and the nights sky in absolute privacy, with no neighbours or tourism to be seen!

The remodelled side house of Papenwohld is a unique house that provides perfect condition for a relaxing getaway in nature or a creative retreat. The old romantic, sun flooded house offers diverse use from individuals to large creative groups or families. Papenwohld is the home of the Papenwohld Artist Residency - a non-profit art project founded and run by the hosts. Everything from music festivals, yoga and horse workshops to concerts and art exhibitions have been celebrated here.

The property is located in the countryside between Flensburg and Husum. The house has 4 bedrooms, each with their own bathroom/shower and TV, as well as a kitchen/living area also with TV. Perfect for a group stay of up to 8 people. The kitchen is fully equipped. The terrace has garden furniture, gas grill and ping pong table in the summer months. The fireplace with seating is located separately on the beautiful grounds. The in-house PV system supplies the property with electricity.

Living in the former farmhouse

Lives with the whole family in our quiet and spacious holiday apartment, in our old farmhouse. There is space for up to 5 people to sleep and relax in over 95 square metres. The 2.90 m high ceilings and the old double doors, as well as the real wood floor, give this apartment its charm. Of course, we are fully equipped, from coffee pods, sugar, teas, filter coffee, spices, towels, bed linen, books, games, wet wipes, diapers, etc. We look forward to seeing you 😁
