Vacation rentals with a kayak in Douglas County

So many wonderful things about our stay. We enjoyed spending time outside playing games on this beautiful property. The cabin was equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay. I highly recommend this Airbnb!

Jennifer’s house was beautiful! We were so grateful for the great place to stay and gather after a men’s retreat! They had several sitting areas for us to spend time as a group! We will be more than likely coming back when it warms up!

We have a friend group of 10 adults and growing growing children. To find a place that fits all of us comfortably is a challenge, but this place was the perfect size. We had multiple places to hang out and we weren’t on top of each other. We will definitely be back again!

This place has every thing you could possibly need to have a great vacation. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans, dishes, utensils for cooking and even spices. The bedrooms are spacious and the whole house is nicely decorated in a beach theme. They have games and puzzles for rainy days and plenty of beach toys when the sun shines. The Sandy Beach is wonderful. It is a very nice clean home.

This was a perfect space for a friend board game weekend. The house was spacious for everyone and the backyard and lake view was beautiful.

If you're considering Brett and Shelly's place - BOOK IT! I stayed for just one night with a group of women and when it was time to leave, we all agreed that our only regret was not staying longer. The house was beautiful and airy, the couches and bedrooms were perfectly cozy, and the lakefront access with kayaks was the cherry on top. We cooked a couple of meals and anything we forgot to specifically bring we were able to find in the kitchen. The check-out instructions were clear and minimal which is always a plus. I also want to specifically thank Brett and Shelly for being so responsive and flexible with our group when it came to checking in and out. Multiple people in our party said they would earmark this listing for future trips with our groups in their lives.

We stayed at the Miller Bay Hideaway over MEA weekend. located right in the water, we enjoyed the bonfire pit and gazing out over the lake. The 20 minute drive to Alexandria was easy to go to shops, and there are a few great places in Osakis, just a few minutes away.

We had a wonderful time at Mary's Place. The charming home was spacious and easily accomadated our group. The access to the water was perfect and the lake is great. We would definitely recommend this property.

This use to be a summer camp that they've purposed into the airbnb, so there's lots of space. I was the only person staying on the property while I was there and it was great for a secluded retreat to think. I loved how isolated it was and peaceful.

We were greeted at the facility by a warm friendly couple who made us feel right at home. Nothing fancy here, just a clean comfortable private room in the middle of a peninsula surrounded by a landscape you sort of hope heaven is all about.

Stacie was a fantastic host and was very responsive and helpful. We enjoyed the views of beautiful sunsets over the lake. It was fun to go kayaking and play on the lillypad. The place had everything we needed. Our stay was very peaceful!

Connie's place made great entertainment for our two families' joint vacation. Outdoor on a calm quiet small lake with beach, fishing dock, and plenty of floats and quality SUP board and kayak. Lots to do indoor with gym and board games. Well stocked to cook with grill, griddle grill, popcorn maker, etc etc. Close enough to Alexandria to stop in for day trip

We loved staying in one of the cottages. Very clean and comfortable. We lucked out that things weren't very busy the weekend we visited so it was incredibly quiet. Even on a busier weekend, it still would be a great place, lots of space to explore. The beach was very nice with paddle boats, paddle boards and kayaks up for grabs. Amy and Tim were excellent hosts and quick to respond to questions. The cottage had a larger-than-average mini fridge with freezer, microwave, and coffee pot. We did assume that it would have well water (which is perfectly fine to drink, but an acquired taste) so we brought a 5 gallon jug for drinking water, just an fyi. We will definitely be visiting again!

I've been coming to Spitzer to fish for a few years, and let me tell you this property is beautiful! If you're coming to take a fishing trip, this could be right up your alley. 10 mins from the launch and the sunrises and sunsets were great! We ended up switching to a cabin, and Amy and her team handled it with ease. They were very easy to communicate with if you needed anything. Don't hesitate to book here!

We had a great time!! The view from the house is amazing and was fun to look out at the water activity. We had six adults, four children and plenty of room to spare. Eric (the host) was extremely good at responding if we had any concerns or questions. Like the description said, there are "50" steps down to the lake but this worked well with the four littles (by the time you get to the top the beach sand was off;) also, being a little away from the water allowed us adults not to worry as much when we were playing outside. Lake Ida is a beautiful lake!! We loved having a sand beach right at the property! The water was so clear the kids could watch the minnows swim right up to them. Extremely nice dock. What a bonus to have water toys for adults and kids and plenty of chairs to use.

We had a wonderful stay at Lisa’s cabin! It is extremely clean and peaceful. Our family enjoyed fishing, kayaking, and relaxing on the patio. We hope to be back next summer!

Fantastic stay! The fireplaces were a great addition to the home. The home was clean and well stocked. Great location.

Beautiful setting - every room had a lake view - which we enjoyed in chilly and warm weather. The gas fireplace was a plus for cool days and the screened in porch and rocking chairs on the patio were great for warmer afternoons. The kitchen was very well stocked with various cooking utensils, herbs, spices, oils, etc. Comfortable seating - great for a family gathering.

Our weekend at the cozy cabin was beyond our expectations!! We felt very welcome at the cabin and by Trista who made sure we were happy and content. Very clean roomy cabin, the landscaping is beautiful and the ease to get to the lake was seamless. All was so wonderful that I am planning to stay there again soon!!! Thank you for sharing the cozy cabin….

We loved this spot! Coziest little cabin. It was beautiful in the winter, and I'm sure it's only better in the summer with the lake right there. I hope we'll be back

It was a nice place, super clean and comfortable - very responsive host - very fun trip! Beautiful view of the lake from the living room and deck, right on the water with kayaks and floaties to chill in the water. Lake Reno bar and grill just steps away with great food, drinks and staff! Everyone we met was very friendly :)
