Secret Lodge in County Town of Somerset

Our lodge is close to family-friendly activities, restaurants & dining in the county town of Somerset. Our lodge is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers & families. The lodge is located within a 5 minute walk of the train station, 10 minute walk to county cricket ground & a short drive to J25 M5 motorway. There are a number of stunning hills, forests, & coastlines to explore not forgetting the opportunity to reward yourself with a local cream tea! All within an easy drive.

Country House on a Farm

Converted barn in 100 acres of land. A home from home crammed with books, games and toys. Easily accommodates at least 10 people comfortably. The garden, pond, woods and parking areas are all exclusively yours for the stay. We live up the lane from the barn. So you have privacy. We have chickens, ducks, Sheep and pigs on the farm. 5 mins drive from J28 of the M5. 20mins from Exeter centre. Not near any good beaches so don't choose us for a beach holiday. There is no spa or hot tub.

Charming rural cottage, close to the racecourse & polo ground. 3 bedrooms, sleeps 6. Kitchen/diner, sitting room, open fire. Large rear garden, patio & lawn with stunning views of surrounding countryside. Ideal location on the edge of the Blackdown Hills for exploring Somerset, Devon & Dorset. Close to all amenities, with the county town of Taunton just 2.5 miles away. This delightful cottage has recently been completely refurbished whilst retaining it's character & original features.

The Old Potting Shed, Staplegrove, Taunton

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space in the beautiful picturesque village of Staplegrove. Nestled on the edge of the Quantock Hills, The Old Potting Shed is a self contained holiday let enjoying views of the surrounding gardens with pretty shrubs and our own pet chickens wandering around. There is a small fridge and tea and coffee making facilities (please remember to bring your own milk). A wonderful array of pubs are just on the doorstep as well as a village shop (co-op).

Palmela is a one bedroom, two storey annexe. Separate kitchenette and shower room. Television with fire stick, Nespresso coffee machine and air fryer. Only a 15 - 20 minute walk to central Taunton. Ideal for all the town’s amenities including county cricket ground, theatre, shops & many restaurants. We are a 5 minute walk from King’s College and Richard Huish College. Free-parking directly outside. Included is a private outdoor seating area with gated access.

Access is via a gate and mown path across a field. Please note: there is no vehicle access to the cottage.
