My wife and I had a great stay at the little red barn! It was a beautiful peaceful place to sit and watch the sun come up. Perfect weekend getaway and Rebecca was an extremely helpful and communicative host. We were blessed to be there.

Our stay at this cabin in the North Carolina mountains exceeded all expectations. It offered the perfect combination of adventure and relaxation, with plenty of outdoor activities and a comfortable, peaceful place to retreat to at the end of the day. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway, a family vacation, or a solo retreat to reconnect with nature, this cabin is an excellent choice. I can’t wait to return! We stayed 5 nights at Michelle’s cabin and had a wonderful time! The beds are extremely comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and the whole place is very cozy. We especially enjoyed the gas fireplace and sitting out on the front porch. The cabin is very convenient to Mount Airy and other attractions such as the Blue Ridge Parkway. Definitely would love to stay again and would recommend to anyone visiting the area!

The location is perfect. Matched photos and description perfectly. The listing did have one error. One of the queen beds is actually a king. The river has a wonder sandy area right in front on the house which was perfect for the kids to play in. Would definitely book again.

The Mountain Escape home was just what we needed. Plenty of space clean and comfortable for all four of us and our furry friend, Puppers. The views were amazing and the fire pit on the back porch was perfect. The listing says to bring your own coffee for the french press, so we did. Unfortunately, the press was broken when we found it, but they had provided some k-cup pods and a keurig so that was ok. Cell service is pretty spotty but much to the kids' pleasure, the wifi was strong! Would love to stay here again.

Cozy cabin with great views! We had a wonderful time hiking at Stone Mountain State Park then relaxing back at the cabin. The cabin had everything we needed, and the hot tub and hammock were an added bonus!
