This stocked creek is noisy and fun to wade, fish and float in. The yurt is on a gated property. The driveway is biker friendly, and in the blue ridge mountains. The area has lots of backroads with accessible places to go on atvs. We do provide a side by side for an additional fee. The yurt is 2 mls from Kanawha Valley Arena.

The Magical Cabin on Back Creek

Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. Please note that there is a $50 added fee for pets that is passed on to our cleaners.

The Cabin is a luxurious rural escape, with a 3-person hot tub. Located on a permaculture homestead and native plant sanctuary, the space overlooks the garden and is surrounded by forest. Natural/local materials were used throughout (built in 2023). For larger groups, check out the guest house next door (Airbnb: Guest House on Homestead near Floyd/Blacksburg). ~10 miles to Floyd, ~20 miles to Blacksburg, ~35 miles to Roanoke.
