If you fancy stralling or hiking through the lush woods and meadows, swimming in Bazaleti Lake, enjoying nature, views of the medieval tower and a tranquil environment then this cottage for three people at the edge of the forest is the perfect place for you.
“How lucky I am to stay in Masho and Anna’ cottage. The environment around us is quiet，the dogs are friendly to us and I like Eva very much！We had a good and sweet sleep in the cottage. The last but not the least，the host is an intellectual and scholarly man that make a deep impression on us. A pleasant and exciting experience for us to choose here.”
Our mountain house with private parking is a 45 min drive away from the capital Tbilisi and has breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and Lake Jinvali. Because of the floor to ceiling glass windows surrounded by dramatic nature and nestled amongst old trees the house feels like a three-tiered Treehouse. Just 5 minutes from Ananuri's castle it's a unique place to explore and relax in the Georgian mountains. Your host will be Katy who speaks Russian and Georgian.
“The house is beautiful and the views over the lake are breath-taking. Particularly with the sunrise in the morning. The house seemed newly renovated/new, in a tasteful cosy style. It was necessary to communicate with the owner to find it. It's in the middle of a farm area, which made it very attractive to us. You can also see the Ananuri Castle/fortess complex from the large windows in the living room. The large windows made the house very special, no one could see us from the outside, as it’s only the garden, the oak trees and the lake to be seen from there. The house was very clean and the beds comfortable. The kitchen downstairs is fully equipped and nice. A neighbour welcomed us and handed the keys to us. He also guided us to a restaurant, 5-10 min. walk from the house. They served delicious food. We had brought breakfast with us, as I am unsure if there are close by shops.”
“The apartment is wonderful, bright, spacious, large terrace where you can sunbathe and have breakfast (lunch and dinner, too, even though there are many restaurants nearby). Located in the center of Mtskheta, you can go at least to a river, at least to the sights, at least to the fortress, all within walking distance. A big plus will be panoramic windows and a huge bathroom, which is very rare in Georgia. A very beautiful garden and wonderful hosts, Chiora and Dato are incredibly kind and helpful people. We lived a week, there were only positive emotions, we will definitely come again :) thanks!”
