This second floor space is private, light filled, and quiet. Please note, we were previous Super Hosts before Covid. We're getting back into hosting with an even better apartment (more space, and two bedrooms!) In the heart of the village, walking distance from local restaurants, brewery's, and shops as well as mountain bike trails. 5 mi from a beach where you can rent canoes/kayaks/paddle boards. An off grid cabin in the hills of Vermont with a spectacular view of Camel's Hump. Not for everyone, (no running water, spotty cell service) but if you want quiet, beauty and solitude, this place is for you. A writer-hiker's dream. If it's chilly, the cabin's heated. There's also an ice pack (provided) fridge, propane stove, solar electricity for lights, composting toilet (no smell. Really), pots, cooking utensils, dishware etc We allow one dog (only ONE, please!) for a fee $25 per stay.

Waterbury Center Guest Bedroom - 244 Howard

The guestroom room has a separate entrance located off a covered, back porch with a small table and chairs for summer use. There is adjustable heat and cool air from the wall mounted air-source, heat pump. The little kitchen alcove is convenient for coffee or tea or a light meal (toaster oven, single induction “hot” plate, water heater) We live in a historic building. Our neighborhood is very close to Rte 100. Waterbury village and Stowe are nearby too with skiing, hiking and biking.

Lilla Rustica is an elevated cabin among the trees. Private, with Stunning views this was built by "The Tree House Guys" a local Vermont company whom can be found having a season on the DIY network. Tons of detail, while keeping the design natural and simple. Unbelievable views of Camels hump State park. A loft with one queen bed and downstairs has a queen bed with three sides of the bed having windows facing the views. Hiking offered right from the cabin. An awesome getaway!
