A great place – offers both privacy and close proximity to everything you might need in the town. A cozy, stylish home with all the essentials. Beautiful, fenced property. Excellent host – helpful and responds very quickly. I highly recommend this place and will definitely return myself.

We were very pleased with our stay at Karlis’ house, which features a charming garden, a cozy terrace, and comfortable upstairs bedrooms. We stayed for three days with our dog, who was warmly welcomed. The nearby forest, with its many scenic trails, was perfect for walks. The peaceful, nature-filled area just outside Riga was ideal for relaxing. The house’s rustic feel, especially on the lower floor, added to its charm. The front door was an unforgettable, authentic detail—it felt like stepping into a Grimm’s fairy tale. The house has been modernized with care, preserving its unique "cigar box" character, especially at the lower floor. Karlis' house is truly a gem, and it was a delight to learn about the artist who once lived there and see his remarkable sculptures still on display.

Beautiful place, relatively close to Riga but feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere. Very peaceful place with beautiful nature. The house was beautiful, spacious and clean. Host was super nice and friendly! 10/10 recommend
