Vacation rentals with an accessible-height toilet in East Africa

This is an absolute gem. Felt right at home at Leonard’s place. The yard is beautifully manicured with lots of space. Safe and secure with an electric gate. There’s back up power which is super important in Zimbabwe. The interior is very clean with comfortable beds and fast wifi. Host is very responsive. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back again.

Ncami is a very sympathetic and welcoming host. The house is big and the rooms have everything you may need. Toilets are also spacious and clean. It is located in the middle of the country and it is a perfect place to explore the whole eSwatini. Everything is near by. The road to the house is not paved and can be difficult to pass when it rains a lot. Not something for drivers that can not deal with it. ;)

Helen was an exceptional host, and a womderful person. I greatly enjoyed the time I spent at her place. The place was a bit hard to find, but certainly worth the effort. I enjoyed some wonderful walks around the neighborhood. Helen is a delightful person happy to chat and share. I really appreciated getting to know her, and our conversations together. I greatly enjoyed our time, and hope to visit her again soon.

Davies accepted our last minute request in the late evening and offered us to share dinner, because the supermarket was closed at that time. He had good local tips and always responded quickly. The place is easy reachable by public transport, it stops right in front of the gate. Inside the house there is all the amenities that you need for your stay. We really enjoyed.

Authentic stay at the heart of Mauritian life. Clean, spacious apartment with large balcony overlooking a bustling little street. Minimalist equipment but sufficient for a short stay. The welcome by Amit's parents is nice.

I had a great time! Maasai’s brother took me around Arusha and gave me a great tour. I also had dinner with the family and got help with anything I needed. I never had to worry about a thing. The room was so cozy. I can only recommend everyone to stay with Massai :) I will be back for sure!

Nina and her family were so friendly and accommodating, they go the extra mile. They were very helpful. She is a very caring host. And is very responsive.

As 4 disabled men, 1 in a wheelchair, we found the accommodation to be adequate for our needs, with spacious bedrooms, room with a bath tub and a roll in shower for wheelchair users. There are very well portioned TVs in each room A very nicely situated house in a secure complex with all the amenities one would expect, including solar power for a greener footprint. My stay at Masha's place was great! It's exactly as appears in the pictures, she's a kind, considerate and responsive host and her place is close to useful amenities. Masha is a wonderful host.

We rented this flat for an entire month and had an amazing time. We worked remotely for around 2 weeks, then took proper holiday. Sohpia was the best host we could possibly ask for. She provided many suggestions on where to shop, how the bus system works, how to open a coconut, and many others! She was quick to respond to any questions in airBnB chat. The residence itself is comfortable and modern. The pictures of the balcony view don't do it justice, it's really gorgeous. The air conditioning worked well. The beach and restaurants are around a 15-minute walk. Anse Royale beach remains our favorite and is as beautiful and good for snorkeling as any other we've seen. The wifi worked well enough for our work and basic needs, but advanced functions like video calls and VPN connections were sometimes challenging. The cell signal was very strong, however, and we were able to hot-spot, when needed. One good thing about this location is that there are ways to spend money enjoyably or to go cheap. For example, there is a space to park a car, but the bus station is very close by if you prefer. The bus system was reliable and convenient (although at the time when we visited, the buses were on reduced hours for covid). There are local takeaway places to get lunch for 60-65 rupees (Eulie's Taste or Sega) or you can have a pricier sit-down meal at Kafe Kreol or Jardin du Roi. You also have a full kitchen and grocery stores/vegetable stands nearby. A few additional suggestions: Make sure you complete the paperwork from the Seychelles government before arrival! You'll need to share your booking information with them. I made the silly mistake of bringing two pairs of jeans and way too many socks and didn't wear them. Buying a snorkel is quite expensive, once you arrive.

I had a fantastic stay at this cozy apartment. The space was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, making it feel like a home away from home. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the amenities (like fast Wi-Fi and a well-equipped kitchen) made my stay so convenient. The location was perfect—safe, quiet, and close to great restaurants and attractions. The host was also very responsive and welcoming. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Nairobi. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

We stayed here for a second time and it was once again a very pleasant experience. Very comfortable stay, safe area, very centrally located. Very helpful and responsive host.

We had the most lovely time staying with Laura and Walter. Their Airbnb cottage is in the perfect location in Melville, close to 7th Street, and with a fantastic view. Laura and walter and kind and accommodating hosts, and the cottage is clean, comfortable, and a great value. We will book again!

Grace was very communicative and the flat is well looked after/newly renovated. Some water issues but nothing too major. I would stay again.

Pictures on the internet do not do this property justice! it’s a wow 🤩 factor.Location was absolutely brilliant in a fab Quiet environment . We loved our stay here & would recommend it very highly to anyone wanting to have a good base while exploring beautiful kampala . Worthy a stay and great value for money !

"The perfect location for the digital Nomad." I was remote working while in Addis and Feysal's place was perfect. Located in a scenic neighborhood on the outskirts of Addis with all the amenities you may need In the immediate area. Feysal is a super host (even if the app doesn't list him as one.) He went out of his way to make me feel welcome and comfortable. I fell sick when I was there and Feysal rushed to get me medicines and came to check up on me regularly to make sure I was doing well, and to get me anything I needed. Truly a wonderful stay and a lovely experience. I highly recommend it. -Stayed for a little over a month

Ana is a very welcoming host. The apartment is shared, but Ama is not there most of the time. Her house is well furnished, comfortable and very clean. It is located near many restaurants and supermarkets. The area is safe to walk even at night. We loved our stay.
