This is one of those magical places that when you arrive you think is exactly what I needed” quiet,original, close to restaurants, and a few minutes from the beach by scooter, which they rent them on the corner very cheap) The bed is very comfortable… equipped and comfortable kitchen, large garden with privacy. I would recommend it 1000% 🤙🏼

The place was clean, comfortable and quiet, with a pleasant view over the garden and the greenery beyond it. Made was kind enough to take me on some spectacular walks along the rice fields at sunrise. These will be very memorable experiences to take from there. Made ( and his doggos) were super friendly and helpful throughout my month-long stay. I recommend the location for more of an authentic Bali experience than staying close to the more touristy places in Ubud. Thanks, Made and family, for your kind hospitality.

I highly recommend this accommodation! It is a wonderful experience to stay at Julies place. The bed is amazingly comfortable! King size and super special great mattress! The garden is huge! With many places to chill and have it just wonderful relaxing. The kitchen is suited withe everything you need.(you will not use it, because the food at flow next door is delicious :) ) The staff, is so sweet and friendly and will arrange everything so that you can feel comfortable. And the family from Julie is just nice, there are living next door. I felt so home and worm and welcomed! I definitely will stay there again and I could not imagine a better place to stay at GiliAir. and also good to know: I worked half days and the internet works just perfect! Even if there is power cut at the Island you do have Internet (and power) at Julies place wich was amazing for me! Big recommendation!

My stay at Suci Cottages was wonderful. You are living on a family compound. They even helped me out with recommendations a week before I checked in. The communication was quick and easy and I was greeted very warmly. The neighbour I passed on the way even came to make sure I arrived safely. There is a nice pool downstairs which I could use, great in the heat and you are surrounded by the jungle and its inhabitants. The sunrise is worth getting up for! There is a little kitchen with coffee and water is provided. The hosts were always up for a nice chat and to offer recommendations. The location is close to Monkey Forest and many shops and restaurants, about a 25 minute walk from Ubud Palace. WiFi worked really well, I managed to work from there also. Keep in mind, you are in the jungle, ants and other critters live right there with you but they leave you alone (except the mosquitoes ;) ).

Really lovely place, really clean and good location, felt really homely

Beautiful historical local house with your own little downstairs space surrounded by plants, an enormous green area with a pool, and a garden that is tended to daily, which my cat explored all day long. There is quite a bit of noise when you go to bed since you're next to the road but it doesn't matter in the slightest, the place is so cozy you go to sleep in seconds. Putu welcomed me with open arms and may have been the nicest service I have ever received traveling without any exaggeration. 10/10
