The Balian treehouse is only a 3 minute walk away from the beach. From the veranda you can watch the sunrise in the morning, and enjoy the view of our beautiful garden (900m2) with pool. (when fully booked also see https://airbnb.com/rooms/4875630 its called The funky glasshouse).
“Made’s Tree House was an incredible place to spend our first nights in Bali. He set us up with airport transfer that was there as we arrived. During the 2.5-3 hour drive from Denpasar, Gusti told us about things to do, eat, and see in Balian. Check in was easy, and we were exited to see that there was a water purifier in the room for our use. The house and surrounding area were clean, and the landscaping was immaculate. We ate at Tekor Bali, Casa Balian Cafe, Toms Garden Cafe, Secret Bay, and a small warung on the left side of the road on the way into Balian Beach. We enjoyed the Warung for lunch, but Secret Bay was a bit disappointing. Do take the walk down to watch the sunset there though! Overall, Made’s place is quiet and laid back. Just the right atmosphere to recover from jet lag and enjoy your first few days in Bali. We cannot recommend it enough.”
A haven of tranquillity on the Island of the Gods. A seamless blend of concrete floors, vaulted ceilings, and open walls creates a stylish tropical retreat rippling with character. The funky kitchen showcases faded retro tiles. 2 min walk to beach.
“Such an amazing cottage! Location is epic, the staff is unbelievably sweet + super helpful, communication was a breeze with the hosts. The backyard outdoor space is so peaceful, the views are lovely and the cold plunge is perfect to cool down + enjoy the outdoors. Loved the upstairs patio and the master bedroom is perfect. Super comfy bed, cute kitchen. No complaints whatsoever + I’d highly recommend <3”
Lie back in a rose-petal strewn free-standing tub made for 2 before a dip in the fountain-fed pool. The tropical garden overlooks palm trees and the hosts' family rice field. Inside, traditional accents meet latterday luxuries like rain showers.
“Let's start with the host: Kadek is the nicest person! He was there whenever we needed something and helped us with every request and problem we had. The villa itself is gorgeous. It has everything we needed, it's close to Ubud market, tasty restaurants, markets and most of Ubud well known spots. We also could rent scooter. In general, we felt like home and definitely recommend to stay in the villa!”
