Small newly built lake cottage, about 15 square meters with two beds, electric heating, refrigerator and microwave. Balcony with outdoor kitchen and summer water. Very close to the beach with morning sun. Possibility to add your own boat, as well as to borrow a double kayak. The lake cottage is located in Krysshamnsviken, near Nämdöfjärden and lakes within walking distance. It is about 4 km to Stavsnäs where you will find an Ica store, paddle tennis courts, bakery and restaurant in the picturesque old village, as well as the nearest bus stop.

Wilderness cottage by the lake

Cozy wilderness cottage in a quiet location by the wilderness lake. Amazing hiking opportunities. The cottage is located on a vast owner's private property 6 km from the owner's home. The cottage can be reached by car. Ivalo's services are 9 km away. The guest must be an experienced guest who controls the wood-burning fireplaces and the use of a gas stove. Also used to surviving in different natural conditions during different seasons. Drinking and utility water from the lake. Lighting with solar panel. Ground cellar. Outdoor toilet.

Written originally in english. Sandhill Cottage is a compact house close to the train and bus-stations. This cozy getaway is perfect for example Onnibus and Santa´s Express travellers. From the Airport you can get a shuttle-bus to the train station or have a 15-minute taxi drive to enjoy your stay. Our home has the utilities for 6 people to relax, cook and get warm after a full day of snow fun! We live in the other building on the same ground and are ready to help and welcome you with our husky!

Authentic and Romantic Lodge close to nature

Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. The perfect match for a couple, but will also function very well for up to four persons. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

My husband and I started our project in 2017 and finished it in the end of July 2024. I’ve been obsessed with the bay window where I can see the beauty of the view through all the seasons which give me such a different moment in every season to take on.
