The house, built in 1949, is in a quiet area. The balcony with morning sun and water views. Large farm. The interior is like a home with everything needed, crockery, books, and a sauna. We like to be in our house and would like to share with us.
“Think I found my second home in Aland. The house is very cosy, welcoming and simply lovely. Eating breakfast on the sun-kissed terrace with a view over the Baltic Sea was a real treat. It’s quiet at all hours which was nice. Helena has several useful pamphlets about the several nature trails in Aland. We did a couple of them thanks to the readily available info in the house. Helena is a wonderful host. I hurt myself and she checked-in on me during her office break and even handed out a useful medication. Talk about feeling pampered!”
Wake up looking over the ocean, sunbathe and swim from your own cliffs. Live and sleep in the middle of nature, listen to all its sounds and still be in a comfortable double bed. It's a bedroom in the wild. The tent is a living room and bedroom in one, with a terrass, overlooking the sea and the sunset. Next to the tent is a sauna with hot water. We offer you a comfy, cosy living room in the middle of nature - a getaway from your city life. Spend a couple of nights here and do nothing.
“Absolutely magical! The view from the tent is fantastic and straight ahead, twenty meters down, is a perfect spot to swim. You just walk down your private cliffs and dive in. At night solar engined lights, here and there in the forest, are turned on and makes the place look like in a fairytale. The tent is big and tall enough for you to stand upright in (my height 186 cm), it has a proper master bed and even an armchair. The interior is really tasteful. Don't miss the sauna, followed by a swim. Johan and Elin were super hosts, they drove us by car from the bus stop and back again when we left. They made us feel very welcome. Go there!”
The cottage is from the beginning a boathouse that was moved to the current location in the 60's. the cottage has been continuously maintained and the kitchen interior, stove and fridge with freezer compartment were recently renewed. It is about 400m to go to the swimming beach and about 600m to the place where large parts of the Stormskärsmaja film were recorded. There are several scenic places to hike to in the area. The saddle joint goes right next to the cabin. Ask host!
“It was great to stay in this little cabin for two nights, had a wonderful run, walk and dip in the Baltic Sea. I also used the fireplace which made the cottage very homely. Tommy was a great host, he offered to pick me up as bus connection is not the best, and also drove m back to town the morning I left. It is a wonderful place to be.”
