Waterfront vacation rentals in Edam-Volendam

I had a great two day stay. I didn’t make use of the bikes but certainly would have if I’d stayed longer. The accommodation is very close to everything, had all you need and Stefania was very helpful. Thank you.

We enjoyed the stay 100%! Serge is the perfect host, accommodating, but always reserved, polite, friendly, helpful - we were just fulfilled every wish and nothing was missing in this luxurious, absolutely thoughtful place. High-quality appliances in the top equipped kitchen (salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, baking paper, aluminum& plastic wrap, etc.), cozy sofa & toilet, nice bathroom, it was nice and warm (in cool April). We were able to wash our laundry and also let it dry in the dryer. In front of the windows were screens, good blackout curtains in the bedroom and nice screen during the day. You can park right in front of the property in a large parking lot, the car is always in view from the living room & kitchen. We will be back! we had such a beautiful stay at polder's paradise! the bnb was super clean when we came in, and each cupboard had such a cute variety of crockery and vintage homely cups, plates, etc as well as baking equipment and all necessary appliances. the multiple soft lights around the bnb and the dimming chandeliers really gave the bnb a beautiful ambience in the late hours. the internet is super fast there despite being such a ways out from the nearest town, and the tv has everything you need :) the view outside is beautiful, you can sit on the heated porch and watch the sunset/sunrise over the lake! you are situated under 5 mins from a beautiful field of cows and goats where they are also kept in the barn next door, as well as their very friendly dog who likes to free roam around the neighbourhood and came by a few times to say hello :) sonja is incredibly friendly and kept and was in the neighbourhood at the time, and was readily available for any queries we had. we'd definitely return!

Amazing AirBnB in Amsterdam! We really felt like home during our stay in the city. The location is great, with a lot of the main things in under 30min walking distance. The street is quiet and really lovely next to the water. The apartment is spacious and we really loved the separate sleeping area. The hosts live above the AirBnB and were waiting outside for us to welcome us in and were super friendly whenever we met them around. Would definitely recommend!

We had a great time at the cottage in Landsmeer! Everything was great – the house was very clean, well equipped and cozily furnished. The location is quiet yet close to Amsterdam which was perfect for excursions. The hosts were friendly and helpful. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, the accommodation was perfect, spacious, clean, well presented, comfortable. The games room and bikes were a nice bonus. The location was great for Amsterdam central, Leon and his family were happy to help with taxi service and it made it a super easy experience. It was also nice to come to a much quieter area to stay and escape the busy city. Leon answered all of our questions, explained everything well, you couldnt ask for more from an air BnB stay.

Ideally situated (20 minutes from Amsterdam city center) in a beautiful , peaceful setting. A real family house, warm and welcoming. We have had a great time.

What a lovely little place, right in the heart of the old city, super close to harbour and restaurants. We used the train station a lot, which is only a 10 minute walk away. The house is clean, modern and has all amenities. Communication with Jouke was easy and we received quick responses. We would stay here again in a hearbeat!

We loved this Airbnb and it was the best of a few we've stayed in throughout the Netherlands. The outside area was peaceful and beautiful. The house well stocked and comfortable and extremely well decorated. Michelle was great to communicative with and we highly recommend

The property is idyllically located, 10 km outside of Amsterdam. Excellent bus connection to the center every 15 minutes. Great place to relax, after an exciting, exciting day in interesting Amsterdam.

The family of 4 people with 2 young people. The apartment is enough space for us. Nice location and private parking. It is 15 minutes to drive into Amsterdam center. Cozy neighborhood and nice with bike ride around. Recommended. We will be happy to come again

The apartment is super cozy and very nicely furnished. There is everything you need. The location is ideal. You can walk to downtown in 5 minutes. Still, it's quiet. The communication with Majsa was great. To welcome you, there was a bottle of wine and something to squeeze. It was beautiful all around. We definitely want to come back! Thanks very much.

Words cannot express how lovely Joze’s place was! She met us upon arrival and gave us a tour, and we immediately felt right at home! She was extremely helpful and communicative! The home is located in a fantastic quiet neighborhood with walking distance to everything Amsterdam has to offer! The home is filled with Joze’s artwork and it makes for stunning finishing touches! We cannot wait to come back to Amsterdam and hopefully have the opportunity to stay at her place again! We had the BEST time!

Where to begin? The location is devine, it is on the fourth canal so it’s still touristy but feels like a more local experience. It is right across from this gorgeous church and the bells sound lovely. I actually feel like this Airbnb is underrated. Could I give it 6 stars? The pictures of the Airbnb don’t have a good photo of the back courtyard, but it had lovely birds chirping and parrots as well as purple, orange, and red flowers. One night my mom and I had a dinner out there and it was splendid. The location is also almost right across from the Anne Frank Hous and I can’t believe the reviews don’t reflect that because it was so convenient getting to. I’m also an avid runner and the area, although full of pedestrians and bikers, was the perfect runners paradise. There was so much to see and it made me feel like I got to know the city more intimately. The host was also so nice when we first arrived and told us about all the amazing things Amsterdam has to offer!

We had a very relaxed time in the apartment. It was clean and nothing was missing. The highlight at the end of every day was the large hot tub. Remy is a very nice host and has always made sure that no wishes remain unfulfilled. I can only recommend both the AirBnB and the host.

This was a beautiful, relaxing stay for our two nights. Everything was clean and as described. Yvonne was charming and easy to communicate with. She gave us good recommendations as to where to eat am evening meal. We visited the Keukenhof from here and was a nice easy journey. All in all we were very happy with our stay!
