Vacation rentals in Eldhraun

Our 4 day stay at Eva’s was the highlight of our time in Iceland. It was perfect for our group of three couples. The home is quaint with gorgeous views. The bedrooms are spacious and the two downstairs rooms have ensuites. There is a bathroom to share for the two rooms upstairs. The living area is cozy and suited us well. You couldn’t pick a better location. It was central for all the activities we wanted to do in the area. You’re on their working farm and Eva makes you feel right at home from the moment you step inside. Her thoughtful touches of fresh made cake, fruit, a few eggs and Icelandic treats made us feel so welcome and helped immensely as we had just flown into Iceland that morning. She quickly responded for a small plumbing issue we had and came right over from the house despite having her own houseguests to get it fixed. She even spent extra time giving us local recommendations. After many years of using Airbnb, Eva’s place in my top three. I highly recommend booking.

Halla’s place was exceptionally lovely. One of the nicest AirBnBs I’ve seen. The home is a perfect size and it’s easy to spend time in or outside of the house. The views are spectacularly pretty and I never got tired of them. I got up early to watch the sun rise and watched the sun set from the warm and comfortable living room. The house has everything one would need. I loved that there were coffee pods and olive oil. Just the basics but it made it so much easier to be there for five days. Halla could not have been more responsive. Thank you !

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home! The house was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing visit. The location was perfect—peaceful and surrounded by beautiful scenery, which made our time there feel extra special. We felt so welcomed and at ease, and it was clear that a lot of care goes into making guests feel at home. The kids like the toys that we available and the outside ‘garden’ that was a joy for them to play in. Thank you for providing such a cozy and inviting place for our family. We would happily recommend this house to anyone looking for a memorable stay near Vik in Iceland!

Es war eine tolle Unterkunft. Wir haben uns gleich sehr wohl gefühlt. Alles war so wie beschrieben nur noch schöner. Die Lage der Wohnung war toll und man kann von dort viele Ausflüge machen. Es war alles sehr sauber, die Betten waren super und der Pool außen war ein Traum. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war sehr unkompliziert. Toll war, dass wir von einem vereinbarten Treffpunkt zur Wohnung gebracht wurden, da sie nicht ganz einfach zu finden ist. Am Abend konnten wir aufgrund der Lage tolle Polarlichter sehen. Wir würden sofort wieder in dieses schöne Haus fahren! Danke!

We had an amazing stay here! The host provided clear check in instructions and check out was very easy. The cabin was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. It was lovely to watch the sunset from the decks and an extra plus with the property cat coming to visit us! Highly recommend

We loved our stay at Birgir & Sif’s cabin! It’s even cuter than the pictures (inside & out) and in the perfect location in Vik. Very cozy and clean. Would definitely recommend staying here for a night or two while exploring the south coast!

Séjour incroyable. La maison est grande et adapté à une famille, il y a plusieurs animaux, nous avons pû faire la connaissance de la famille et de leur animaux. Les enfants ont adorés jouer avec les chèvres. Nous avons observés des aurores boréales absolument incroyables depuis la terrasse. Je recommande vivement

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour chez Helga ! La maison est très grande avec un charme typique. Les lits sont confortables et il y a tout le nécessaire dans la maison. L’environnement est exceptionnel, nous avons apprécié le temps passé auprès des chevaux dans cet immense champ de lave. Helga est une hôte attentionnée et charmante, je ne peux que recommander 👌
