Cabin vacation rentals in Emmet County

This was probably the most thoughtful rental I have stayed in. Little details (small tray on the nightstand for items, fans for white noise, extra blankets, lots of towels, hooks and hangers around) did not go unnoticed! There was also enough items for us to use for the week (toilet paper, dishwasher pods, garbage bags, even shower soaps!!!) The host messaged instructions when we arrived and when we checked out there was no laundry list of to-do’s! We will definitely be back! Thank you!

The house was perfect for a large group of family to get together for a ski weekend, we had some of the group ski and some stayed back and the house was a perfect place to hangout with everyone.

A wonderful time at a tucked away house in the woods! There was so much that the house provided it was hard to leave! Would stay here again and again!

This place was so perfect! My husband and I were on vacation and celebrating our 4th year of marriage and this place was amazing! The hot tub with the tv were just the icing on the cake! This place felt private and extremely clean! Just like the pictures. I highly recommend this place! Will definitely be back if ever back in the area! I use reviews when booking my stay and trust me when I say this one is well worth it

As locals without an accessible home after “The Storm of a Lifetime” we felt like home. There are those who would not feel comfortable in such an old cabin with its quirks. We loved it!

My boyfriend and I stayed here a couple of nights to go to Mackinac island and lakeshore. We brought our dog along and it was the perfect cabin vibe we were looking for. We had some lovely peaceful mornings able to make breakfast (we brought a hot plate) and coffee (keurig). We were able to have a bonfire and look at the stars too, perfect tranquil camp vibe with string lights on the porch. There was a short path we could walk the dog around the campsite in the mornings that felt safe. Only 15 minutes away from Mackinaw city.

We had a great time, the cabin is adorable with a nicely stocked kitchen. Emily was great as host - very accommodating and within easy reach via messaging online - she offered her phone number too but we didn't have to use it. I'd stay there again!

This cabin was super cute and cozy! We hope to come back with the family one day, as there's plenty of room for us all to fit if we wanted. Not only was it clean, there were clear directions on how to use any of the many amenities in the cabin. I wish we had come at least 2 weeks earlier for our stay (it was a last minute vacation on the last weekend of October). We came up for the fall colors, in hopes that we'd still have a chance - This is no fault of Diane's, this was our own bad planning! We were very thankful the cabin was available! Just know that Mid-October, the local establishments, including the trading post right across the street, are closed/closing for the season. It was soo cool to be able to drive 10 mins and be in town, see the bridge (day photo's and night photo's!) and we were less then an hour ride from the Soo Locks too! Thank you again Diane for sharing your space. It was awesome!

Great property. Only saw one of the cabins on the property, but it was perfect for my group and I. If you are looking for a private, quiet, and peaceful break from reality then I would highly recommend this place.

We stayed here for a ski trip. The cabin was close to Nubs Nob and Boyne Highlands, where we went. We enjoyed some great meals in Petoskey, which isn’t too far of a drive. The cabin was very nice, clean, comfortable, and peaceful! We really enjoyed our stay!

It was close to Mackinaw city and Wilderness state park where we spent the weekend.

This was a beautiful setting. A favorite was the moonlight shimmer on the water! The glowing sunrise in the morning was almost blinding it is so bright. A great place to stay for some peace and quiet. It is surely “restoring” experience. The beds/bedding were great.

The cabin is beautiful and has porches on both levels in the back. Beautiful quiet scenery all around. A large variety of things to do within a 20-minute drive.
