Historical Water Tower Montabaur

Built in 1879, the listed water tower in Montabaur offers a special and cosy ambience. In a prime location in Montabaur, between the ICE train station and the old town, pretty much everything the city has to offer is within walking distance. The tower is historically preserved, but still offers many modern amenities. Around 1990, it was completely renovated and converted into living space. In 2023 it was renovated with a new bathroom. Very nice bright 2 room apartment with separate kitchen and bathroom. They live on 50sqm in the attic directly on the Lahnwanderweg. You look over the city of Diez. You sleep on a 160x200cm bed. Parking in front of the house (or in the yard) at no cost. In a few minutes you can reach shopping center, baker, butcher etc. 10 minutes from the Diez inner and old town and the Lahn. It takes 10 - 15 minutes to drive to Limburg. There is a cathedral and also a historic old town.

Stay by the park

The apartment is quietly located in the annex of our restaurant "Tacheles," directly next to Robert-Heck-Park. It invites you to relax and recharge. Feel at home, without work. But you are also a minute's walk from the old town and the Lahn, five minutes from the city center and ten minutes by car from Limburg. There are various sights, hiking and cycling trails in the vicinity and in summer all kinds of water activities.
