Dar Bachir is an airy and spacious first floor apartment in the heart of Essaouira’s beautiful old medina, less than 5 minutes from the port, main square and beach. Filled with natural light, this comfortable space is part of a 17th century Riad, and retains many original features, including traditional zellige floors and painted wooden ceilings.
“Everything went smoothly, Radouane sent a driver to the airport in Marrakech and then welcomed us as we arrived in Essaouira, communication is real quick and kind. The space is very spacious and quiet and my little son and I enjoyed the huge, very comfortable bed. The place is at a very good point in the medina, you are very near to the beach, the harbor and everything interesting in Essaouira. Thank you Radouane and your very kind cleaner whose name I don't know.”
Located in a quiet area of the city of Essaouira not far from the souks, the port and 5 min walk from the beach, my apartment is typically Moroccan style with a touch of modernity which gives it all its originality
“Hicham is more than great person! We are very grateful for his hospitality, we were lucky to have a person like him at a difficult time. We feel safe and stable in the midst of the pandemic as Morocco closed its borders and we were unable to return to our homes in time. Regarding the apartment, it is an excellent place, it has everything you need for long and short stays, it has a good kitchen, washing machine, hot water and a good living room. The department is close to the Medina and the main places of interest. 5 min from the beach. Thanks again for the help you have given us Hicham !! We will stay in your apartment again without a pandemic in between :) A big greeting !!!”
The house is full of character and charm. Cleaning service twice a month by prior arrangement included. Homemade local cuisine available on request. It fits five and is located on a quiet street in the heart of the Medina. Alfresco dining. Wifi & satellite TV available,
“Wow! What a great accommodation. It's almost magical with all the floors and stairs, the colorful carpets and tiles at the wall, the small doors and the 'hidden' bathrooms. We absolutely loved it!!! And it has everything you need: fully equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Krassy arranged everything perfectly and answered quickly to messages. Saida was there to welcome us and made us (optional) breakfast. She was so nice and the breakfast was very good, would recommend it. Note, be aware of the stairs with young children. It's a lot easier if they can't walk up and down the stairs on there own. We knew that, Krassy is perfectly clear about that in the description of the house, but we chose to go here anyway because we thought we would love the accommodation (and we did). We chose to carry the youngest one around a lot and to don't lose him out of sight for a split second. The doors of the living room can be closed, just like the gate of the roof terrace, so you can drink your coffee and tea relaxed in there and sort of lock yourself and the kids in ;-) Would really recommend this accommodation, inside of the Medina. Lots of restaurants nearby and you can walk to the beach and the port in 10 minutes. Parking is possible just outside the Medina for 50 mad a day. You can have a ride on a camel at the beach, also half an hour is possible. You can have young kids in a carrier at your back. A carrier is also useful in the small streets, but they usually don't have children chairs, so a strawler can be useful to eat in.”
